Cheers dude, I used BioBizz Medium Mix soil, a 270Watt Ms-0006 GN LED and no feed at all. Wanted to see what just the LED did I grew it alongside a Tangerine Dream , plus I changed the two centre LED clusters for pure reds, to boost flowering.Hey Alpha,

what at did you use to grow them Hydro, Light wattage ? .

You never used any nutes atall the hole grow, just what was in the soil ?

Nope mate, was new to it all, just bunged it in some soil a mate recommended, no feed just plain bottled water, that was a time ago now, im getting my test growers to use BioBizz feeds at mo. The pics are of a grow that was done by one of my testers with another particular kind of small light, 240W Light Output. I've got the full grow journal on this one, its all on my home page. Been using and testing LED's for some time now for different purposes, got a few different ones. Its all about the proof isn't it? not words or claims, proof. That particular light that I grew the Big Bang and TD with was and is probably the best selling light so far in the UK & is still part of my LED collection, its got plenty of journals from other members to show what it can do on other Forums & probably this one, but no names mentioned,, but I like variety in LED Tech. there are some really good lights out there nowadays and its about time they all got a fair chance to prove themselves worthy. No sales claims, just proof. Let the viewer/grower decide.Hey,

Cheers Bro, yup, 240W output, 28800 Lumens? roundabouts that, yeah mate, depending on height of course, this area was a 50cm x 50cm x 180c, so quite small. Had the LED right at the top 24 inches away. its a 'mainstream' LED found all over alibaba and in a few places here, but main thing is, it works and is a good benchmark test grow for other LEDs to be compared to in the same area. The next grow is going to be with a very special Osram LED, again, sorry, no names mentioned here, all on my home page. All the same, pot, soil, schedule, feed. The only thing different is the LED.

Well hopefully you are gonna do a Journal so that I can gent a look at how it goes ......
If I hadn't just got other lights I would be asking prices and stuff but I am interested in seeing how it performs, cause you save a lot of electricity which would probably pay for the light ......
How come you are testing all of these lights ?

Im testing as I own my own LED Growers Forum mate, had enough of the wild claims and no proof, so started it so I could post proof of them working etc... plus loads of other stuff, im not biased with any one LED Supplier either, if it works then cool, if not then all can see. They can talk the talk, now is the time to walk the walk.

Its gonna be the same as the last grow journal, a Black Jack Automatic. Total comparison grow, just a newer more exciting LED.

after seeing that they really do produce good results the only thing I have been reading is that the claims that they last so long and still have the optimum output are well not as true as they state ....

cheers man, yeah, they're still a lot of 'bold claims' going around, you cant argue with pics tho eh mate? I arranged the test grow in such a small cab aswell to prove that no HPs has been used alongside the LED which is a sneaky trick I have seen over the years. That area is way too small, even for the smallest HPS. Proves again, LED's can work in areas HPS cant, that's one of the major factors that make them a better, stealthier, light. But im not here to prove theyre better then HPS as that is a very wild claim, personally if I could use and afford to run a good HPS system then I would, because the results you get from HPS is so outstanding! but I cant use them, so LED's is my and thousands of others only option, but they've had very bad press over the years aswell, the only way to break this LED myth is to do grow journals with them as lots of people are now doing. That's my aim, to filter out the 'fakers' from the 'makers'. Nowadays almost every LED Growlight will perform to a level, maybe not to a expected level by most but they do something, its filtering out the 'ok' ones now from the 'brilliant' ones.

I have grown several Nirvana WW's... They were all great smoke but all except one didnt yield well...
I still have her growin, and shes great...
The average was 9 weeks, could be taken a lil sooner depending on preference...
Lights off for the last 2-3 days will trigger resin production, but 2 weeks seems overkill...
*there's nothin wrong with LED's as grow lights...
But not all LED's are created equal and research is a must...
