That time of year is approaching again and my green fingers are getting sticky in anticipation.
I'm planning to grow under one those plant fleeces which can be obtained for a very low price from somewhere like Homebase. The reason for this is so that passers by, on the way down my garden path, won't be able to see what's under the fleece. What concerns me is whether these things let all available light through. If anyone has used these things I'd love to hear of your experience. I know people use these to keep plants warm in cold weather but I'm thinking security. From the photos they seem to do a very good job of obscuring what's under them. I'd probably also construct a very simple support frame using bamboo to create a sort of mini greenhouse and keep the thing from making contact with the plant. Summer is coming Mmmmm
