So this is my first post...yeah me. I've been a lurker for a while, absorbing as much info as possible. I am completely cheap and I've been tring, well anything to work as an exhaust. I made the DIY carbon cleaner from Walmart that someone else posted, by the way it was super easy. Any who I digress. I've tried a regular 10in fan thru duck, it died, I tried a 12v computer fan but I died that. That was my own dumb fault :) I tried a Volvo AC blower fan, it worked, kind of but didn't exactly blow the air in the correct direction. So far all this is stuff I had around the house. Like I said earlier, I'm cheap and well broke. I found this bathroom exhaust fan at home depot

Do you think it would work or have any other suggestions as to a cheap fan/exhaust that will work. My last grow, which was only one plant that I only grew to a small 9 in stank up the whole house. So the wife said take care of it. Thx in advance for any replies and advice.

Don't think that will push it very far, I use the 25$ inline fan that is 270 cfm from homedepot.

mothballs are a cheap mask for the scent,in a pinch.

That's a nice set up Mr green. Mines not quite that big but
I get the idea.
Slab- I'll look into that. I had checked Lowe's for an inline but they don't stock them and the ones they showed me to order were crazy expensive.

Don't use bathroom fans... they suck, I tried a 70cfm one for 30 bucks and it did NOTHING to control the heat.. They just aren't designed for this type of application. Just go with the inline duct fans at the very least. That's what I settled on, and it keeps 500 watts at 80 degrees tops. (I use the 6 inch 160cfm one for 30 bucks)
