Has Anyone Tried This?

Using that red sheet plastic mulch around their plants?...Its apparently all the rage with tomato growers...it's supposed to reflect more of the red spectrum onto the plants increasing yields. I just added some around my outdoor plants (a liitle late with about 2 weeks left to go) I imagine it might work well for indoor CFL growers during the flowering stage.....BTW I got mine for free at Lowes....just snagged a bunch of those red flags for tying on your cargo.they're at the exit nearest the building supplies.

For a stealth grow outdoors it's prolly not a good idea...a definate "red flag" for the airborne patrol....

Well, what is really going on? Is it the color red or that they are mulching?? Mulching has proven to be helpful... The refected light even off of mylar isn't worth much to a plant.

Setup a control group and put some scientific method into it Let us know how it turns out.
