Hash.....Oil......

1st time with hash....when readin the FAQ here....about making homemade hash......at the end it says that your making oil the whole time..and says to throw some of the blended herb into the oil after blending (at the end he says that) to make black herb instead of oil....but in the process he says "make sure you grab the edges of the coffee filter to pervent any herb or anything falling into the bowl.....anyone know what i'm saying?

Just make the hash, don't worry bout the last part its a sticky nasty mess.

so i do use iso alcohol? or distilled water?

Shit I personally would never use alcohol. it works but it takes 100 times longer than using good old fashioned BUTANE!!! You can buy lighter refills full of butane and it boils off at room temp.

Water will not work at all.

well this is how many leafs and stems i have off one plant....they fill the pot between the blue sticker on the pot and the main big white one....how much butane would i need for that much?

Well what you do is basically make a pipe bomb out of plumbers pipe, in one end of cap you drill a bunch of 1/8 inch holes and on the other end just one 1/8 inch hole, fill pipe with trimmings and in the single hole end you will put the bottle of butane and let er rip. Let the butane drip out of the mutli hole end and drip all into a glass bowl. After the butane boils off you will have "Hash Honey" left over, put some on your bud and smoke it up, very hashy tasting and blows you away.

1 bottle of butane ($7) should be more than enough. NO OPEN FLAMES OR SMOKING WHEN DOING THIS!! Butane is highly flammable of course.

plumbing pipe...you mean PVC correct....i'm sure.....and the butane....you talking about the refill bottles that are yellow and are about 10 oz (just a notmal bottle) something like that...or the little clear bottles that you can stick into your lighter to refill it?

and can i use it for anything else besides putting it on my bud?

Do yourself a favour and get a honey bee extractor.(see pic)

Dont use pvc or any other plumbers pipe or fittings.

The butane strips layers of the pvc plastic from the inside of the tube and this is left behind in the oil you smoke after gas evap, potentially very harmfull to your health.

The honey bee extractor is made of a plastic thats resistant to the butane so nothing is left in your oil from the extraction tube.

Dont use any old butane you can get your hands on, especially not camping or any kind of stove/heating/cooking butane.

These butanes have lots of impurities and have added smell to make any leaks easily detected, these impurities and odours will be left behind in the oil and be potentially harmfull to your health.

Use butane for re-filling lighters, and you want to be looking for ones that are suitable for gas soldering irons and gas hair straighteners also, these butanes are nearly always ultra filtered and refined and carry a stamp saying something like "near zero impurities" (see pic)meaning its pure butane so 100% will evaporate from the oil and leave you with nothing but goodness.

BHO(butane honey oil) is amasing stuff, but you gotta do it properly for your own sake.

Iv been making it for a few years now and ive done it with all sorts of homemade extractors and cheap-expensive gas and the honey bee extractor and NEWPORT gas is the best combination

I normally just smear a couple of drops onto my skin before rolling up, then just skin up as normal and the stuff fucks me for hours, but you can cook with it, its great for ppl who wanna cook with weed but dont want plant matter in their food, you can swallow a drop or two straight, or you can smoke it like a hot knife too, or inject it if you wanna?? jokin man, dont do that.

You can use PVC, personally I use the steel pipe, my shit looks just like a real pipe bomb, exactly like in the terminator movie. Yes use the big metal cans with nozzle, not the small clear ones for lighters.

Lots of uses for butane, i wouldn't care to elaborate. A google of " uses for Butane" would yield many great answers for the inquisitive of mind.

Use copper pipe, copper wont react with the butane, as long as you keep the pipe clean of oxidation your oil will be free of contaminant.

well out of everyone here...sounds like i might want to get a bee honey extrator.......now that PVC sounds like a bad idea....which again...i've never done this before but have a ton of leafs and stems drying getting ready to be done.

and get the clear bottle of butane? so that way i presss down on the outlet of it and the butane comes out....correct? the like 2 ounce bottles? how much would i need for the amount of leafs i have? as much as i want?....since the left over will just evaporate anyway?

is there anywhere i can get the Extractor and Butane offline? what type of store...most stores(i think) only carry the butane how i said, in just a open up cap yellow 8 oz bottle....and in 2 oz little ones(unless it'd be in a certain section of a store).
