I watched it in demand so either there wasnt any ads during the movie or i didnt pay attention to them. And just fast forward it through the commercials. It was very well done. But goddam, that fucking "ICE ROAD TRUCKERS!" that was constantly on the upper right corner of the screen really distracted me from the show. I can fast forward thru the ads, but not that.
The real McCoy" is an idiom and metaphor used in much of the English-speaking world to mean "the real thing" or "the genuine article", e.g., "he's the real McCoy". It is a corruption of the Scots "The real MacKay", first recorded in 1856 as: "A drappie o the real MacKay," (A drop of the real MacKay), and this is widely accepted as the origin.i wonder if the phrase " the real mc coy " came from them
It was AWESOME! I prefer the Hatfields to the McCoys. Randall was a whiney little bitch who was envious of "Devil Anse" Hatfield's success in the timber industry. He had a LARGE family to take care of! I'm not mad at the guy for being a "business man".To me the hatfields were greedy. It started more from the McCoy brother being killed supposedly by a Hatfield. And just snowballed from there. I agree it was very well done.
I'd heard that it was referent to a diamond called the McCoy. However I'm not finding any info to corroborate. I was fished in by a pre-Internet version of a blog post. cnThe real McCoy" is an idiom and metaphor used in much of the English-speaking world to mean "the real thing" or "the genuine article", e.g., "he's the real McCoy".
