Hauling dirt to your spot ?

Last time I grew outdoors was three years ago and I remember hauling 30 bags of medium (one for each plant hole) up some serious hills through the bush ect..it was exhausting and lots of trips back and forth for people too potentially spot me. Plus the gravel and everything else.

I guess what I'm asking is how much medium should I be hauling up to mix with the natural soil ? Do I really need a full bag per plant ?

I was thinking maybe make some kind of sled to pull up on my shoulders so I could load 6 or 7 bags a trip ?

Hmm. Maybe the question you need to be asking is "Do I need to haul ANY soil up there?". Theres a good chance the soil in the ground is good enough. Wouldn't that save you a lot of work? I'd give that some thought. I live in Florida... and the soil around here is very sandy... and I assumed that it wouldn't work... but I was wrong! I'm growing a few plants in my backyard (with NO bought soil)... and they are growing fabulously. They did very well during veg... and now they are flowering and those buds are getting FAT.

Yeah that would be nice, last time I opted to bring dirt because I live in northern Ontario and it's very rocky, little soil depth and clay if you do find a deep spot, it didn't look to good but maybe I'll try a couple naturally this time just to see.

so fucking hard but i hear some guys are hauling huge perlite bags once they test the soil is decent enough.

Just put her in 4 wheel low and let it lug on thru. 4 wheel drive pickups and 4 wheelers help bunches

I just get a few small bags of top soil and throw it into my backpack
but I can drive to my growspot then have a bit of a walk so its easer on the back

No doubt, but the mofuckers are costly, I've always wanted one anyway maybe if the crop pays off but they also tear the shit out of everything in the way and leave a nasty trail.

Last time I hauled heavy top soil, this time will be a fluffy perlite type triple mix so that should help a bit with the weight I guess, I'll try to haul 4 at a time and try half a bag per hole this year, maybe just dig a nice size hole, skim through the natural dirt and remove any clay, mix any good natural with the triple mix, add nutes, coco coir and let it marinate for a couple weeks.
