have a little concern with my mushie grow

So all is going well.... To be honest this the third sterilized box i have tried so would like to stay on the right track this time .... Im on week 3 of the inoculation in a 8x4 inch box so figure 1 more week and the cake should be done growing completely white...... So my question is should i remove the taped up spots where i used the syringe?? I have heard that to let more air in after it is around 50 percent grown ......... Just to allow speedier results .... In yalls opinion should let it be or am i safe now to let in more air??

If you have your vermiculite barrier you didn't need to tape it at all.

Inoculate some popcorn jars and leave the cakes till they're done. Why fidget with the shit. Leave it be and do some popcorn. They will both be done at the same time.

Yes its got that nice clean layer of vermiculite......right on good to know it be alright either way ... Yeah figure leave be and let the breathable strip across the middle of the lid do its work ..... When u say do some popcorn ...are u assuming i have more spores or is where a way to inoculate using the original cake??

Yup im sure ill have a chance to try popcorn tek after this grow ... This is my first grow so this is more of feeling it out and learning a lil....... So one thing im un sure about is what is an average yeild fresh wet weight?? I know dry weight is 10 percent.....just wondering what to expect each flush......working with plantasia mystery .... 8x4 box 3 inches deep...

Alright I got my fully colonized box in its terrarium after a full month...opened 8/23.. Been on about 6 hours a day of blue spectrum cfl before I opened it...... My question is should I give it more light to pin??I bumped it up to about to
10 hours on..is that enough or can I leave it over night now?? Not seeing much growth yet

The norm is a 12/12 light cycle to help to induce pinning. Some say less. Some say 12/12. Personally, I do 12/12. I have seen faster (and more) primordial growth with the correct lighting than without.

Sounds like a good rule to follow... I'll start the 12 on tomorrow .... So after pins I can stop light completely?? I would figure seeing more stringy shrooms with light ....

You can decrease the lighting after your initial flush. Regardless. Do some more reading to find your own specific method.
