so i noticed this on 1 of my babys this morning...im confused because it has another 1 of these "ball" looking things further up with a pistol shooting out of it wich makes it female doesnt it? am iDSC02289.jpgDSC02280.jpgDSC02284.jpgDSC02294.jpg been stupid?

If that's the only one pull it off. If more and more show up then you might want to consider killing it. But yes if it has calyxes/pistils and pollen sacs it's a hermie.

im confused,are hermies rare?i heard they where yet,my last 6 i put in harvest=4 males,2 hermies this time 9 go into harvest and i have just been checking the other plants i have more so 4 in total...this can be right?surely 6 hermies out of 15 plants...what are the pistols growing from it?and will my clones from this plant be hermie too? thank you.

different strains,also when i buy my weed 9/10 times i pull the bud of the stalk,stems and left on them is always little nugs the same shape wich i pull of and put in my joints,is this hermie weed im buying alot?its always beautifull weed :S wat if a pistol shoots out of it?does it still make it hermie?

I had several of these on one of my girls i let it ride a few days after moving it from the rest of my girls and it startied shooting pistols so it was a girl i never found any dicks

For male parts, look for a ball shaped sack at the end of a rod at the intersection of branches. This is what I can see on your 4th pic. You can also look for nanners (look like miniature bananas) in the buds themselves.

Calyxes can look similar to what you are seeing, but they will have a pointed tip most of the time.



I doubt a pistil will come out of those male parts :).

OK, let's back this up a bit: list your plants by strain. Are all 9 different, or are some clones? I've only see one hermie since I started growing in January 2012, and I've been going perpetual ever since. I've even had light leaks and a timer that was accidentally set to turn my lights on for 2 hours in the middle of the dark cycle in 12/12, but none of these plants threw off balls.
