My advice is start keeping a detailed journal of the problems, what you did to try and fix them, and how the plants reacted.

Glad to hear things are looking better. If you know your plants are getting enough food, but they still look sick, you need to start thinking that they are either not absorbing the food because of nutrient lock-out (usually fixed by flushing) or because their root system is out of whack.

Good luck from here on out!

Thanks man, but the last few posts were about rooting clippings. The moms seem ok except for the bugs.

I had 3 infestations and one returned. A little white dot that's quick & likes to chew on leaves leaving damage that appears to be catepillar damage. They're too fast to get one under a microscope and trying to get one stuck to tape hasn't worked too good.

I think they might be gnats or white flies, but can't be positive. So once I transplant the moms I'm gonna try putting a top layer of sand over the soil & see what happens.

The lady bugs are keeping them off the plants for the most part. I saw them on the rims of the planters when I was flushing and the only leaf that got damaged was resting on the rim.

I also took 38 clones and am trying a different technique in soil. And I'm about to finish filling the area with as many cups as I can when I transplant. And I'm thinking about getting another 4' fixture or two. Maybe even get another Rapid Rooter, depends on how finances go in the next couple of days.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you an update. Remember those 8 or 9 clippings that I had to replace in the Rapid Rooter? I put Mycorrhiza right into the holes in the plugs and here are 6 of them 5 days later.

I think I found my new rooting method, this is unreal.

The brand I use has 7 spores per gram. I'll be looking for something stronger when I buy more. If you're not using this stuff for cloning & growing, you're cheating yourself.

And if you have a Rapid Rooter, throw the directions out. Don't use standing water.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Thats good to hear Danny, you have some nice looking roots started there.

How are the ones doing in the cups? Is there any difference from the rapid rooter?

They're all doing OK so far. Not sure if there's been any new growth, kinda hard to remember what they looked like yesterday when you have 38 of them to look after. lol But I'm sure they'll root if they haven't already.

I had to put sarran wrap over the Opium with the little root sticking out. The others in the pics are doing good too.

I like your technique, especially since it keep them isolated in case of an infestation. But with the Rapid Rooter I can just do more in a smaller area, and it's more maitenance free.

Yea, but as you said, you shouldn't need to clone many....that is unless you get serious with the dispenceary.
Once I harvest I wont have to clone many. Till then I'm living off of clones, and the dispensories only pay $5 to $10 for clones. So I have to clone & sell 50 to 100 to make rent.

I can get more from individuals, but it's hard to find a place to advertise. When I get a chance I have to see if there's anything on NORML's web site to help guys like me advertise.

So I went out today and bought another Rapid Rooter & Heating Mat from the Tomatto and I was on my way to the Grow Store to buy the humidity dome & thermostat when my car broke down. :wall:

Probably the battery or alternator, I have to go back tommorow & see if it starts and if not get it towed back to the house. Man, when it rains it really pours.

Thanks again btw, I just pulled a clipping out of a cube that had started rooting. The roots were too small to see outside the plug. So I have it in soil with sarran wrap over the top and a shit load of Mycorrhiza to hopefully help with the shock. So that's 2 with roots that your system is keeping alive till I can take them out of the humidity.

That's definately worth another +rep. (I wish I could do it twice)
