Have you ever Experienced or Thought about Growing Weed in Random Woods?

I live with my mom, but I like taking on new challenges like growing weed, and I usually succeed. Growing your own weed is like growing your own money, it's genius, if you are a huge weed smoker and just keep buying from a dealer, I feel thats kinda silly.

If you have done this gimme stories, put me in your shoes, give me a process of what kinda work was involved with it.

I grew in a park by my house in a very urban area in a major city. I happened to find a good spot on a sorta steep hill that nobody walked on, there was a gravel road like 30-40 feet away ha! I got lucky the plants got huge like over 8 feet tall and nobody ever found them. The story isn't all great though it was my first grow and the herb was almost all seeds. I think about that from time to time if I would have just picked the males I could of had pounds of the dank and this is when I was like 16 so I would have been the man with zips of dank at that time. In the end I still got some good fresh weed and it was my first time.

ive never ventured into outdoor growing but from my experiences indoors i'd have to say its much easier and cheaper (no HID lights to worry about...no environmental controls...no a/c...no electricity bills...

what you really need is good soil (or a super soil..i believe subcool has a recipe here somewhere) the benefit to using a super soil mixture (you gotta buy all the ingredients and mix it yourself) is that you dont need to feed with bottled or powder nutes...just simply water every watering. thats it.


most important part of growing outdoors though is your location...it needs to get a good amount of sun daily AND be in a remote location. best locations are ones you don't think someone has visited in 10 or so years...while spots like that are rare for most of us (especially where i live...its very urban here) if you look well enough you'll find a good location.

if you find trash or footprints, etc. then chances are you dont wanna grow there.

you say you live in the woods so it shouldn't be too hard as long as you pick a good spot.



also. never plant them in perfect rows (they will be seen above by helicopters and cops know that plants dont grow in rows in the wild). its best to plant a few plants in one spot...go a ways away...plant a few more...and so on.

this way if someone does find your grow they may not find all your plants.

also try to put your plants near similar foliage of the same shade of green. make it blend in...that way someone MIGHT walk past it and never know its there.



thats a good beginning to outdoor growing i think (for someone who has never grown outside before..but i have friends so those are a few tips i learned)

I have thought about Guerrilla growing as well. However picking the right spot is like fingering a girl, you hope to not get caught and if you do it right then the rewards are fantastic! I would say it really just depends on where you live. If you feel comfortable dropping seeds (making sure they are fem.) knowing that someone will not find them then i would say go for it. But use some sense. Good luck

I didn't say I lived in the woods lol, but I am gonna give it a shot I am going to start small 1-2 plants. I think I can find a spot well see.

I first tried smoking herb from a weed plant I thought I found at a traffic sign on the side of the grassy area by the sidewalk. This was the best feeling. I tried again later on in school and finally I had saved over half a dozen seeds and spread them all on the grassy plot next to the railroad. My college roommate, I hope he had a good harvest— I dropped out later that year

I fought about growing on a tree but then i fought it would be too weird to climb it allways

I have done just about every scenario for OD guerilla growing. Lashed 5 gallon buckets to crotches in maple trees, hauled a tub up in one as well. Hollowed out the center of a very large dogwood patch and grew a 20 plant plot of clones. Crawling through smart grass (stinging nettle) getting to a different plot. Only found one plant in that era. During my surveying, I saw many “covert” spots.
