Ive found that sd cards work really well 4 this. well they do 4 me anyways. ;) I hear that.. I call mine my babies if that tells ya anything ;)
I use to give mine names but I found that too childish as I got older.
I agree with SD cards, I have encryption lock on mine. Cant even see how big it is without the software to decrypt.

you can always take some tops in flower, won't harm it any. keep it from stretching
You're right, not sure why I didn't think of that.
Especially considering I did that with my last grow, had to top because I had a smaller tent then, while in flower, and she came out fine.

I ran the Humboldt version of Green Crack but mine sure wasnt Sativa in any way. Is there some different versions of this strain? Mine ran true Indica all the way and finished ahead of everything else in the room.
The fact that different breeders/seed dealers will name something one name and another breeder/seeder has the same name does NOT mean that they used the same strains to get the end result.

Perfect example: Black Russian

Delicious Seeds = White Russian x Black Domina. WOW, HUGE buzz, very psyco! Sour/fruity smell, grows like a "shorter" Sativa (Black Domina dominate pheno. There are 2 dominate pheno's to this. The other is more Indica but the buzz remains almost exactly the same). TRY THIS!

Hazeman seeds = Blackwidow x Russian. Mostly Indica, No comparison really. Very indica in growth and buzz. Not as good a yielder. Not impressed.

This fact is true across the board with almost every "same named" strains I and friends have run.

Kinda misleading eh? Gotta remember that many of them are doing this to make a buck. Riding someone else's coat tails is an old trick.

I've had a few green cracks, went 10-11 weeks.. very estery, bomb hash. threw nanners late, didn't pollinate anything else in the room..this particular pheno has less thick chunky nugs, smells strongly of isoamyl acetate

I kinda figured that to be the case. I have a feeling the same thing is going on with the Blue Dream I'm running right now ( Humboldt as well). I know theres different variations of that around and they say the only true version of BD is by clone only.

Mine is Cali Connection which also states Indica dominant but mixed with a Sativa.
I suppose I got a Sativa pheno, the leaves and stretch of it shows.

Oddly enough, mine doesn't even list on Seedfinder.eu, but Attitude states its the real B-real cut, and the real "Cush"

which breeder bro:confused: Cali Con or Humbolt
either one from the sounds of it. GC should not stretch that much in veg or flower and finish a lot sooner than 11 weeks, even sooner than 9. I haven't grown GC from seed, just the clone only so TIFWIW. Was those dry nug shots of yours GC? They look dank but not the GC that I know.

I grew the Green Crack a couple times and it's a short stalky plant that doesn't get much stretch from what I saw but I was using a 1000w hps

I'll take a picture of mine, it's very stretchy and my lights are extremely close - 800W about 6-8 inches from tops.

She stretched quite a lot, I never FIM'd to induce side branching but she started to branch out anyway, the coolest part about the side branching is no matter what they grow STRAIGHT UP, not like the normal side branching that grows diagonal.

Weird plant indeed, maybe a mutation? Shes flowering fast and growing faster.
Just today when I woke up I pinched 3 of 4 colas (one of the colas was a few inches behind so didnt need to pinch)
About 5 hours later they were up again, after being pulled down and cropped.

They sure don't leave any down time.

I had the same experience as caligrown. I threw them in when a foot and half. topped it at 3 weeks yielded about 2-3 oz. per plant. had 12 of them. 1000w 4x4 tray. came out quite nice. not too much stretch either. and the branchings were so thick that i didnt really need a trellis. they can really support nice size colas. very pleasant strain to deal with. and yes it is indeed very vigorous. i would call this strain a beginners delight as well. as its very hardy and can take anything you throw at it. i had a friend that abused it when he grew it, and it still came out quite nice. great strain.

just some extra i had lying around not a top cola or anything it was a bottom branch and it still came out looking pretty good, this was drying in my closet for about a month mind you. i had other stuff to cut and couldnt really get rid of the GC fast enough. and so yeah. LOL. im pretty lazy at times, still a very nice plant tho. taken by my phone camera so sorry its not a studio photo lol.

I had a issue last time my fan fell on my green crack
