Hello, just started week 5 flower today, and a few plants are yellowing and having dead spots on the leaves/browning that i cant seem to identify. My first guess is mag def, possibly potassium def?
Have them under 600w hps. in 5 gal grow bags in promix veg and herb mix soil with around 30% perlite mixed in. tap water around 7ph, getting fed advanced nutrients big bud liquid. only a few plants are showing symptoms.

I would say likely potassium deficiency.

You say your tap water is around 7?

Are you checking your pH after adding all nutes?

What is it? You want it to be 6.5

i have been pruning slowly here and there, and they got molasses a few times during veg, once or twice during flower. not actual cal-mag though.they got a general plant good during veg. air flow is good, 8" inline canfan through a can-66 filter exhausting out the room, couple oscialliting fans blowing stuff around. room is around 7x12ft.

im not checking PH regularly, it is around 7 nutes in whenever i check, i will check it tonight for sure though, all i have is test strips for determining right now.

Ideally you should check your water each time after adding nutes to it Bud.

You may add 1 or 2 ml of this too much and 1 or 2ml of that too little and your pH is no longer what you think it is; these ml of feed difference only applies to small watering containers however if you do use a small watering can then it can have more impact

I got a cheap pH meter from Amazon, digital one. Its great it only cost around £10. It's an investment Buddy

Go get some real cal mag add it every watering in small doses then once you see improvement follow the label from there on out. Pro mix is devoid of cal mag and so is the big bud your feeding it. Stop playing the ph game. Go in at 7 out the tap ? Why would you fuck with that ? Don't p.h after nutrients in soil partner it's not necessary. Good luck my guy.

Yeah OP good info here.

I had a CalMag issue so feed about 2.5 times the dosage requirements until my plants found a happy place. Then brought it down.

Get that pH meter and you'll save yourself the wondering as you'll know for sure if pH is good ;)

hey guys, well calmag fixed it a bit but it ended up being heat stress. moved lights away and it got better. a new issue has came up though. in day 52 flower right now, and last night i noticed some seeds forming on the tips of the buds. are they going hermie on me? they were undeveloped, white seeds, and if so whats the best course of action? trichomes are around 70-80% cloudy right now, still some clears and no ambers. 4 plants affected, maybe 3 seeds on each one were found. rest of plants look ok. let them finish ( maybe a week or two left) or should I chop? thanks.
