Having a Herm problem

Hairs are going red earlier than they're supposed to. Also I don't see any seeds forming yet, for some reason everything is herming. The only thing I did differently is top and vegg longer.

Does topping during veg give a higher risk of herming?

Also will these buds still be potent? I've been checking everyother day for bananas and scrapping them off as needed.

Input on the potency please, will my bud still continue to swell? 5 weeks flowering.

If the nanners were there for a while there is a chance it pollinated itself. In that case the plant is going to focus on the production of the seeds more than say resin production and so forth. The potency should not be too bad but, I would watch out for under developed seeds and the nanners themselves those will ruin the taste.

Thanks for the reply, if you were me would you let them go the full time?

i've had a couple of recent hermie grows, it's just how things go sometimes
you still get good potency, but the yields suffer, much of the weight is from seed

How many plants do you have going right now? If you have a few in flower you may want to isolate the hermied plant away from the other flowering plants to keep the baby gravy from spreading.... If it is the only plant you have flowering at the moment then let it finish all the way.

4 out of 7 have hermed, not badly, just enough to cause the hairs to start going red early. Maybe I should ride it out, yeah?
We rode it out and did not end up with too many seeds in the end product. We were watching them every day and pulling any nanners we saw to minimize the pollination to the other non hermied plants. Actually we ended up with some very interesting crosses due to the accidental cross breeding. Here is a link to a thread we started about the same situation and the end results. You could have gold in them there seeds!
