Having difficulty using PH Down

Hi,

The PH of my tap water is way too high. So to get around this I use PH Down. The problem I have is PH Down is super strong. I usually make 10L of water and will only need a few drops. At the moment I only have seedlings so I am making 1 or 2L of water only at a time so its really difficult to use PH down.

Can I take some PH down and dilute it so its easier to use? Or is there something else I can use to get my PH down?

Thanks!

I dilute mine with distilled water. I needed like 0.049ml per gal and it was easier to add 1 ml of ph down to 1 litre of water. I can then just add 49/50mls of my diluted ph down. Much easier this way :bigjoint:

What Ph is you're water what ppm is you're water. Dilute a separate jug Ph that water to 5.8. Add it to you're other water food jug bit at a time. Find the balance dude

Don't worry I have been giving my ladies the correct PH it just takes twice as long as it should.

I'll try diluting with distilled water or the citric acid powder, thanks.

I have a well that has a pH of 7.5. I don't use pH up or down. I just get ground coffee and do a top dressing with it. Seems to do the trick. I haven't noticed any pH issues.
