Having problems in flower

I have been having problems with my indoor grow. I only have problems during flowering and dont know what is up. I will describe the problems as well as I can so here goes. I have been having these problems usually after the plants have been in flower for 3-4 weeks. The buds will start to form and then the plants will start to show stress like dry withered leaves with rust spots and yellowing of top leaves. Also buds seem to be small and not fully forming like they should. I have no light leaks and run 2 1000w air cooled hoods with hortilux bulbs, use GH floro series nutes and supplements including cal mag. I also have good air intake with 6"inline duct fan and also have a/c rigged in from my central air system in my house ( just did that a couple weeks ago) due to temps getting into the 90's. They are in the 80-85 degree range now and still are showing the same problems. Its like the plants will start to bud and then get stunted where I will get small dense frosty nugs but they arent what I want. I do trim the bottoms of my plants before flower as well to promote bigger buds. I dont know if I am not feeding them enough or what? I gave them a flush using GH florokleen but didnt ph it because it says u dont have to on the web site. Then I rinsed with RO water and still having problems. I am afraid to give them anything because I dont want to mess them up. I have quite a bit of various supplements and nutrients to address problems but dont want to do anything to make it worse. Some plants like my ATF strain are producing well but my jillybeans and purp elephant strain are looking sick. I did have mites there for a while but have been able to keep them at bay (not totaly eliminating them due to the size of my grow its next to impossible). Any advice would be great, I need to produce more medicine for my patients but have only been able to get around 1/2-1 oz due to these stresses. I have superthrive, which is soposed to help, should I give them some? I grow in ffof soil cut with light warrior and it drains fine. I have to water every other day usually in flower so how often should I feed? I have fed them and do ph the water.

are you growing with soil or hydro? Is it possible your plants are rootbound.Did the heat from a couple of weeks ago fry you root system?

sounds like lack of fresh air/co2 coming in, the heat does not help in these conditions
my temps are normally 80-85 and i have no issues , they grow a bit faster with more heat i find, as long as you have plenty of air changes
although your setup sounds like you should not have any heat or air change problems
the quickest thing you could do is change those bulbs for 600s or even 400s, since your crop is not working anyway the price of 2 bulbs is worth it
using 2x400 or even 3x 400 get another ballast for a test run would reduce the heat a fair bit
make sure when your lights are off you also keep your air moving and fans on .. you cant really have too much air movement
as long as it does not blow directly at the plants and bash them around too much
if they look healthy up until week 4 in flower like you describe then the leaves start to turn yellow and crispy and it all starts to die quickly this sounds so much like heat stress and lack of co2/air

rust spots can also be a nute deficiency.. but i doubt it is that
sounds like those 1000w lights are cooking up the air before your fan can bring in new air , i would much rather an 8inch fan for 2x 1000w

peace :)

Skunked, that quote u have at the bottom of your post is funny as hell, I laughed for a min on that one. I think I found the prob. I have no inline duct fan sucking air out of my flowering room. I notice that when I zip up the room it seems to push the walls out like its inflating. Could this be the prob? I have plenty of air flow in the room with fresh air intake and 1 rotating fan and 2 corner ceiling mounted box fans blowing down on the canopy on low. Its not enough to bash them but enough to move the branches around slightly. I think u might be on to something with the air exchange thing. I made my own rooms out of thick poly thats black on one side and white on the other. I made walls but didnt line the floor with it or the ceiling. I think the exposed old looking fiberglass insulation might be my bug culprit, what do u think? It seems like nothing I do will get rid of the mites fully. I run a perpetual grow and have around 20-25 plants in flower at any given time in various stages from 2-6 weeks into flower now. I want to save the crop and need to do something quick. I have the lights mounted around 18" from the top of canopy. I dont think its the T5 bloom lights I use for supplementary lighting, I heard they are good to use due to throwing a little blue spectrum into the mix. I cut a vent hole last night before the lights shut off, today I will install a 6" inline duct fan to suck air out of the flowering room. As far as co2, I have never used it accept one time when I bought this organic co2 that comes in bags that you hang around the room. It was prob a waste of money but said it worked for up to 6 months, It started growing black stuff in it so I threw them out after using for about 2 months. But like I said, I didnt have these problems until I switched to HID lighting and upped my patient/plant count from 12 plants in flower to 20 or more. As far as switching to 600w or 400w, not an option since I think my ballasts are only for 1000w lights and I would have to get new ballasts which I cant afford right now. I have to make what I have work somehow, and I know its possible. I still am thinking I underestimated the air exchange thing and thats the problem. It shouldnt be fried roots since most of the pots are on cement and no its not cold but it doesnt get hot either when lights are on. Fans stay on 24/7, all of them. And i grow in soil, Fox farm ocean forrest cut with fox farm light warrior in a 3 bag fox farm OF to one bag LW mix. I go from 1gal pots in veg to 3-7 gal pots during flower depending on size of plant when put into flower. I veg some for 4 weeks and some for 6 weeks depending on speed of growth. I just bought a 24 site dwc bucket system with 50gal rez that I am supposed to get on the 1st of Aug so switching to hydro from soil real soon like.

Also I wanted to say when I touch the glass on my HID's they are not hot to the touch, they are warm but not hot at all. I dont think its the size of my fan on the lights. I also dont think its a fresh air problem due to the fact that my room seems to inflate when fully closed. Its not completely air tight either. I have nothing sucking air out of the room and I am hoping that is why my plants are not producing right. I also wanted to mention my grow rooms are both in my basement. I have no veg room issues besides bugs once in a while.
