Having trouble pinpointing a plant problem (pictures included)

may be nute burn also have you used any nutes yet if you did i wouldn you wont need them for a while with mg

also you need to get those lights closer or more because its streched to shit

Think nute burn too. Need more lights, agree with jman your plants are stretched.

My temp is around 80 degrees. The stretching doesn't cause harm does it? (I actually had to bury the stems once already.) I haven't added anything to the mg mix either. So I probably need more lights?? Also, the lights have been on for 24 hours since the plants started... too much light time? If the nutes are too strong in the mix, should i flush the soil again?

I'm a firm believer in 18/6 I feel plants should have a rest period just like humans and animals. There are many who disagree but that just my belief. I'm not a soil man so I can't help you there. I'm sure there are many soil ppl who can help you there. Stretching doesn't cause harm it just will give you less of a harvest due to the nodes being far apart....hope this helps.

Dude you really got watch out with the amount of neuts you use like they can really make or break your plant, allot of people dont think about this when there just giving it a large amount without at least weening it on the stuff first.

try flushing with a tsp of epsom salt in a gallon of water but make sure your soil is dry as africa before you do it from these pics your soil looks super moist unless you took em after you watered it and are your lights cfls?? if not get some..... regular bulbs will burn you plant if you put them as close as they would need to be to grow a "ok" marijuana plant

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have flushed the plants, but i haven't tried flushing with the epsom salt yet. I'll let them dry a little more then use the epsom salt. As for the nutes, I haven't added any, it's just what came already in the miracle grow medium. :/ Which i have flushed several times.

As for the lights, I have three 65 watt CFLs. I think I'll need to build something bigger to accommodate more light though.

Either way, I truly appreciate the suggestions and comments. I hope that in a week I have have this cleared up, if not then I'm sure I'll be studying more of the forum, or I'll repost with some pictures. (Pictures always seem to make getting answers easier!)

i used MG expand n gro and had the very same problem, there's to much nutes in the soil and the tips of the leaves were the same as yours. i had to flush a couple of times and just giving them water and got it under control.

Definately nute burn. Miracle gro is for houseplants not cannabis. I don't know about their coco medium but most MG soil contains time-released nitrogen that will burn the plants after a few weeks. Transplant as soon as possible and save their lives!

Thanks for the tips. I'd try the option of transplanting them into new medium, but i don't want to damage the roots during that process. :/ So hopefully just flushing them will work. Unless there is an step by step procedure to ensure transplanting to new soil without harming the root system. Either way, thanks again - always great to hear constructive and timely criticism.

Pretty much what has been said...keep flushing, check your PH, and move those lights WAY closer, those are stretched as shit. I have a plant right now that is just over 3" and I saw it's 5th node starting just today.
