Hey guys,
Changed my setup a bit after a un awsome run.
Now running 3 gal buckets,ogkush,ffhf soil all organic.
Vegged 2 weeks,fed Bm and then boof.
Co2 was used,and this helped a ton.

That's a lot to water. Out of curiosity, why not go with a hydro setup? Seems like it would be a lot less maintenance. If I can find a place with a walk in closet (apparently these are hard to come by around here) then ill be going with a setup similar to your, but ill be goin hydro.

What size room is that in? Also, what sort of lighting are you using?

Watering takes 3o mins,but yes hydro would be easier for sure.
I am doing a pvc hydrogon next round as it is more effecient.
I will then do a soil and compare the two side by side.
But i am lazy and want to automate all watering next round for sure.

This run looks way better than my last with the addition of co2 i really notice the difference.Alarge stadium with 5 gal buckets could do well also i believe.

This og is amazing,very fast and strong!

you have all those lights on one circuit? i only ask because im moving in a few months to a location where i can upgrade my op and am worried about overloading the circuits.

Extension cords will do untill the wiring is done,each pluged in to seperate rooms/fuses so i dont overload.You could do a vert w a 4oo w in a 4 x 4 tent, just gota keep em close,{could make a cool tube} and build mini colisium inside with 2-3 shelfs.Could get a lb? Justa guess tho,heath robinson gets great yields off single 6oo watts.

looks good bos...havent been on the forums for a while..just got back from south america... yea soo how many of those 3 gallons fit on the shelfs...and are you gonna be doing the 5 tier aswell? im in the works of starting someing up again...

No fus this time,but the racks are being swapped for full vert.
Light mover woulda helped but eh,a vert garden will yield similar in half the foot print.
mmmm pvc the other white meat.

hbr have you ever thought of moving the lights up and down? making like a pulley system and move in those top plants closer? then just have a small winch type motor that winds up the cables which lifts the lights... then have it unwind.... guess i'm not sure if they make small winches that will continually run or not. you'd prolly have to set up a few relays or something to get it to kick the line back out slowly.

I looked into vertical light movers and found no cost effective way.
A whinch on timers would be nice.
I want to see what i can fit in my room...
Vertical gives you a lil boost over the .o5 g p w,but not always the elusive 1gpw
I think when dialed in they will do well over that,but on to the build.
Nft looks like a easy build! not vert but clean and easy.
Octagon looks neat and out of the way,and really just opens the room upa bit.
I want to do a retractable/moveable octagon :
Would vert colums be better or horiz tubes ?
How would this work? On hooks? Casters? Rails? HMMM...Whaddayouguysthink?

haven't read into the octagon enuff to give any input. does look crazy for sure tho. you should just make a hydro stadium the size of your stadium now... but change the wood planks to 6" pvc and have 6 of them on each side... then i'd run 3 600s with reflectors have the middle one facing down and the outside ones angled up to hit the walls... then put the 3 on a mover. or use your 1000s i guess since you have them. you know what i mean? have the lights in a U shape almost... and move all the way down the stadium and back.

Ive been reading into nft channel lines/pieces and that would work well on the rack i built for the satdium.So would dwc/aero...I am limited by budget
but want max yields,I just dont see this size stadium doin the numbers i want.

I know you have probably seen these grows before. I think these are the best uses of light and are the most efficienct way of growing. One guy get 1.5 grams per watt on a regular base. He uses less electrcity than you are using. Here is the links just in case.
