If I remember correctly I read somewhere that most North Americans have roundup in there systems. Plus lots of my family and friends farm and they hate what monsatan has done. Most of the farmers I know are switching to organic farmimg and don't by gmo or non organic in stores. Hell we buy our honey and free run eggs from a friend I grew up with. Do your research people and be healthy as possible by avoiding gmo as much as possible

Organic is a big yuppie scam.

You're paying more for a label. Baaah. Sheep. You're like an LPee 'client'.

Why Choose Heirloom Seeds? - http://www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/vegetables/heirloom-vegetable-advantages

1. Exceptional taste is the No. 1 reason many gardeners cite for choosing heirloom varieties.

2. Heirloom vegetables are likely to be more nutritious than newer varieties.

3. Many gardeners prefer heirloom vegetables because they are open-pollinated, which means you can save your own seed to replant from year to year.

4. The fourth advantage of heirloom vegetables is that they are “less uniform” than hybrids, which means they often don’t ripen all at once.

5. In catalogs and on seed racks, heirloom open-pollinated vegetables are almost always less expensive than hybrids

6. Heirloom vegetables have been grown for many centuries all around the world with known quality safety and durability.

Dizzy you might of been reading propaganda , much of the good spin you read about GMO is put out by the biotech industry itself. Saying organic is a exercise in futility is straight up bullshit. I mean the planet is organic we are organic shouldn't we maybe be eating organic ?
