Heart:

I've noticed something and I'm curious what you think of it, possible or stoner thinking.
I have bradycardia with a resting HR of 50/bpm and though it is something I've had for most of my life, I rarely if ever suffered any ill effects. I'm not sure if it's an age related issue or just a consequence of a life lived on the fringe...more or less

What I've noticed is that with my use of strains like Cheese and Blueberry Kush, my waking HR is much lower then I care to see, there have been times where it sat closer to 40/bpm and for longer periods of time then usual. It's been taking longer for my HR to adjust to physical exercise and my recovery rate is much quicker once exercise has been halted. I have the education to understand the cardiac aspect of this but my knowledge of these newer strains is quite limited at this point and was curious if anyone here could share their input on this.

Would one strain be more likely to lower HR when compared to another?

Should I be more concerned with the trichome maturity of my plants, in an effort to avoid such a thing?

Soul:

I savour the headiness of the sativa and dwell in the relaxation of the indica, I really enjoy the buzz of a sativa better but the indica helps with pain relief. Right now I have some blueberry growing, so any personal preferences of what I could try next year would be great.

Thanks for your time

not sure I have a resting bpm of 60 and wasn't told theres anything wrong with that and my blood pressure is always good apparently

but when I started smoking for my first times I would notice an increase in heart rate unless majorly couch locked for long periods in time

60/bpm at rest is a very good HR, have you noticed anything regarding your HR since the exercise regime you started and smoking?

Research project! If you aren't throwing aberrant beats or breaking into other reindeer rhythms no harm no foul. Sounds like you are gaining conditioning too.

That's cool , I've always been on the fit side and ran track when in school, never had my drivers license and always rode my bike. It's just something I noticed and thought maybe someone who's grown weed long enough or knows more than I would have some insight on this.

I have PVC's during recovery with runs of bigeminy but the duration is never long enough to be a concern. The rhythm issues were a lot worse when I was on the beta blockers I tell you.

I like the creepy Huey Lewis and band standing around the girl in her bed while she sleeps.

Blueberry is a good choice. Do you know if you have an indica or sativa blueberry? Both are good. That DJ short sativa blueberry male (b130 i think) (the one Chimera used for his Sweet Tooth 1.1) was fucking great for crosses.

A great sativa buzz in a quick flower is c99 or any of those plants... Apollo, Genius, etc...
For a longer flower... I like Sour D and NYCD... smells amazing. A good haze that is not too watered down is an amazing thing if you have the patience. O Haze if you can find it... if not Super Silver Haze is good. You can find short 9 wk plants that are real pleasant or 14 week plants that are some of my personal sativas ever.

My favorite indica of all time is Deep Chunk. Insanely small yields, but hands down the most potent chillin' indica plant I've ever had. Crazy potent but very chill crazy potent. Hash plant..

I'm rather stuck for space so a nice low rider would work great

I've seen some really nice blueberry sativa like plants. They were always more sativa in stature and leaf shape than effect. Really pretty flowers though.
