will heat damaged budding sites recover? the leaves around it became brittle and yellow due to heat and improper airflow, the issue is resolved but I don't know if I should leave the areas on or abandon them and cut them off? View attachment 1911640

no they dont recover...whatever damage is done is done...
any leaves that are over 50-60% dead should be taken off...
and it probably wouldnt hurt to trim up the other damaged leaf areas also..

Agree with moash. I would remove all dead material pronto - dead material is great at promoting budrot.

it could have been more than just heat damage, the splotchiness, healthy parts between damaged parts says, it's not just the part that was closest to the light. I think there was maybe an issue with the medium , watering or fertilization too possibly. that looked like it was 1 plant in the photo , not 2 next to each other.
It's really important to be close to the light but not too close. If you get a little heat damage on one bud (retarded growth:dunce:), then move it a little away from the light thats the perfect distance.
