Heat from Ballast??

Hey,

Am worried about the heat coming off my 3 tents each with there own light n setup etc..

Surely there is going to be 3 clear heatspots?? from tent themselves, then big spot from ballast..

Would you say this is somethin to worry about??

Am In uk, an live on the bottom floor of a 3 storey house..

What kinds of lights are you using?

If you're on the bottom level, I'd say that you should be fine. Due to the fact that heat rises, the excess heat produced by the ballast and lights should filter throughout your house from the bottom to the top. Though if you're using high wattage lamps (600 or 1000w) then you might want to consider venting your excess heat into the laundry room, or up into the attic space.

hose runs up to fan and ballast.

in the end of the hose is a little 12 volt fan that only run when the lights are on. The little black AC fan is just blowing on the 12/12 part of the grow I'm doing at the time of post.
