My room is averaging 88 degrees and I'm flowering. It just starting getting this hight the last few days due to our temperature outside rising. I'm air cooling all of my lights and I have 3 sources of fresh air coming in as well. This is my first heat problem

1.) What are some quick methods to reduce the temperature of my room?
2.) I only have about 3 weeks left of flowering?
3.) How long does it take for this high temperaturen to damage my THC?

Thanks

sry no quick methods to reduce heat, maybe someone will provide that for u, but ur temps r not going to damage the thc, i flower in temps that r that high during lights on time as well. the heat can damage thc more so from direct light & heat during curing.

so why is it important to keep your grow room temperatures around 78 degrees and not 88 degrees, isn't there something negative that happens with these high temperatures?

Anything under 96f is OK. This plant originated in HOT, humid areas. Outdoor growers have no control over temps and plants grown in areas where the temps are exceedingly hot grow to 14 feet or more. Heat really shouldn't be much of an issue, unless it gets over 94, 95 degrees.

those r "optimal temps" where as the growth is at its best at those temps. higher temps (depending on the strain) may or may not affect growth, in the way of slower growth if they have a hard time transpiring with high heat/humidity, that is the only downside to high temps in some strains.

88 is not that high and the plant will still grow but the buds will not be as dense. why dont you turn on your air conditioning to lower the ambient temperature in your place. what is your ventilation like. where do you exhaust and where do you draw in fresh air from?

@ irieie: Thank You for the info. The house dosen't have A/C yet, I running a 10 light operation but I will A/c after this crop finishes. Also, the only ventilation I have is the hot air from my lights is vented out of the room. And I have three sources of fresh air entering the room in different locations.
Do you think I need to exhale more hot air out of room also?

@ thexception: Thank you for the info

@ Ledhed: Thank you for the info, also can you e-mail a link to a bigger picture of the girl you have as your photos from the back, lol (nice pic)
