Thanks. And also the humidity inside the dome won't get over 50%, wtf?theres a temperature that chemical reaction happen best at, and it happens to be around 70-80f. after that, any hotter, the reaction breaks down. any cooler, the reaction slows down.

Stick it in, the soil temp and air temp can be way different
Plus you can check the temp of your pot roast. Seriously you need a soil thermometer. Just another 20 dollar gadget.

Agree, then I use a separate thermometer located where plants are to dial-in...I used to crack dome cover but now have a vented one.No 80 max.. get a thermostat for the mat. Heat comes from the light too.
