Heat problem!

Hi, this is my first time posting, and growing. We keep 2 plants, which are only 9 days old, in our attic with an AC on most of the time to keep the temp from not going to high. It works really well. Today I came home and the power was off, no AC on, and I checked the temp and it was 100 degrees! The plants first set of fan leaves were very brown on the edges, and all of the leaves were turned down. They are still standing though. The power came back on about an hour later, and the AC kicked on and now the temp and everything is fine again. Do you think these plants are okay or not?

All help is appreciated. Thanks!

they should recover, but as the summer is approaching im afriad that attic will most likely get hotter, and is the AC actually in the attic?,if not i don't belive the cool air is getting up there.u can add a 4 or 6inch inline fan to exhaust all that hot air,and put a fan in there to circulate the place,

Yes the AC is in the attic. It is a 2 bedroom finished attic with the AC in the other room as the plants. It stays very cool up there (never drops below 60, never above 75).
