Heat stress advise

Hi all need to post a question once again
IMAG0403.jpgIMAG0405.jpgIMAG0404.jpg

Please take a look at these 3 photos and advise me if you think its heat stress.

The first picture shows the curled leafs on the right where on the left there's no damage at all.

I have 2 nft trays running the same base bloom nutrients as each other up until last sunday.

The effected plant is running bloombastic where the unaffected plant is running Dutchpro Explode.

The room is only small and i have had to run a dehumidifier to keep humidity down and at the side of the unit are 2 oscillating fans which i think are blowing the hot air from the dehumidifier onto the far plant which in turn is causing the leaf burn.
Only 5-6 fans leaves are effected by this.

Your advise on this will be greatly appreciated.

cheers :-?

Hi max thanks for that info............ but can you explain why the other plants not showing no signs of any probs?

This has only come on since i mixed up a batch of base bloom nutrients along with half strength bloombastic.

This is also the first week i've been using a 100ltr auto topup on both trays with just ph water in.
Each day the ec strength is dropping by .2 in the trays but i do mix up fresh nutrients every week.

cheers

Heat stress can cause all kinds of ailments due to the excess of fluids that the plant takes up to try and cool itself. Is your best plant the one that is showing the most signs of stress?

i was going to say it looks like a P deficiency, but since you did feed bloom nutes, that shouldnt be the problem...how close was your light? and what kind?

I have it about 14in away from the tallest part of the plant.
I am running a 600 hps in a parabolic shade i can keep my hand over the tops of the plant all day and my hand never gets hot.

It starts the mind racing when things like this happen because so far everything has been good and like i said the other plants loving it right now.

By the way the tanks ph this morning was 6.1 and nutrient strength was ec 1.3

I was wondering......... because my top off tanks only full with ph water at the moment wether this is diluting the nutrient in the nft tray and making the solution lack in certain elements???? or should i have only gone 1/4 strength on the bloombastic???

so many questions so little answers...........

cheers all

yea i agree, heat stress with a lil deficiencies added in.
good possiblity is that theres less airflow on the affected plants? also closer to the walls? further from the fan?
