So my plants having some trouble and the only thing I can find that it could be is heat stress which is weird coz it isn't even that hot or sunny. I feed it a mild as mix of plant food but made sure it was well below recommended dose. Does anyone else have any ideas on what it could be and advice on how tofix it

what is your water source? also it looks like your soil is very dense. i would think about alighter mix with more perlite.

The soils just a mix of compost mix and potting mix just cheap stuff from your general store. The nute was just a general veg fert high N with lower Phos and potassium. I'm from new Zealand so you probably wouldn't know the brands of the stuff. Its nothing fancy I'm just waiting on these plants yo get big enough to put them out in the forest.

A plant that size doesn't require much in the way of nutrients. Have you checked the ph of your medium? My guess is that's where your problem is stemming from

i have a feeling its the soil. it looks a little early to feed but i dont think that is the problem. how often do you water?

Your roots are probable suffocating. It's a to big of pot for that size of plant to begin with. Roots need lots of oxygen. Try a mix more a high perlite or vermiculite ratio. And if your other plants aren't showing signs yet my guess Is they will as they grow. But it will be stunted growth if not fixed.
My advice. Transplant into different soil. Monitor ph. Smaller pots. from an early age the only time a transplant should happen is when roots have fully wrapped the container.
And only water when the pots feel lightish and first 2-4 inches are dry

Good luck! And ph test strips work if you can't get a meter. Just not as acurate. But as we are shooting for a range they do the job.
Thanks heaps for advice. This is my first grow so this sorta stuff is probably expected. I will purchase a pH tester tonight. With my pot size I just started themfrom seed in these pots, main reason bbecause im quite late in the season to planting andiI didn't wanna wait the stress period of the transplant. This may have back fired on me because that plant in the photo is 4weeks old and tiny

O well. As long as you learn and try to do better next time. You logic makes sense but plant from seed or clone in final pot will really end in disappointment. Energy which would be given to growth and buds will enforced to endlessly search for the pot sides. Start in beer solo cups until two e three nodes.Thanks heaps for advice.
