this is my 6 week old "auto" hindu kush .. i have just fixed the ph today back down to 5.2"hydro" which ive being doing every few days cos it keeps rising!
do u think this looks like heat stress or humidity ? or what? i had a 250watt HPS going in a small closet the temps where up around 91-95 F most of the day and at nite drops down to around 86 F..notice how the leaves still look a healthy green but are just curling upwards and the leafes also look abit glossy and stale

from what ive been reading this looks like heat stress. also 91-95 is def too hot. a more ideal temp would be 80 during lights on and around 70-75 with lights off. i think the plants are responding to the temps being too high... how many fans do you have?

so no fans actually inside the closet? i have a 150 watt and i have to use 2 fans bringing air in, 2 fans circulating, and an exhaust fan. maybe the light is just giving off too much heat and its frying your plants.

hey thanks for the link , i think its either heat stress or moisture stress from me having the fan directly on them 24/7

That is definately heat/moisture stress your temps are way to high

when the leaves curl up like that the plant is transpiring HARD (think humans sweating)

aim a fan from below to flow right above the canapy towards the light

and also get your temps under control (low 80's for veg)

as stated, ur temps are way too high. you said you have good circulation. is there any air blowing on the plants? you want a "gentle" breeze blowing on em. also, your ph could be a bit low. for hydro, 5.8 is more better! (no rep)

your temps are too hot for that indica plant... though some tropical sativas and subtropical sativas can not only survive but thrive in 90 degree, and even triple digit heat....that indica is not the caniadate for that. try to lower your temps and yes that is heat stress... how far away is that 250 watter away?? what kind of fan you got on it. i could keep my 250 watter from 4-6 inches from tops with just a good osc. or even boxfan on high... when leaves curl like that it signifies heat stress

okay so indicas work better under lower heat? and sativa's work better at higher heat? also my 250 hps was about 6 inches away but it was most likely my ambient heat outside the grow room the was getting sucked in that caused the heat stress
