Heat Stress

So the shift into autumn has crapped on my rooms temps, while in summer the ac ran enough to keep it under 85 usually around 80, but now that its off i see low high 80s-low 90s pretty often and im starting to get a little bit of crowning/foxtailing on the tips of some of my taller or worse placed colas. ive tried more airflow, and eliminating sources of heat in the room. the ambient temperature around the tent is ~68-72 throughout the day.

Im a few days into week7 of flower, will probably harvest mid week 9. Are there any foliars i can use to help with this? i know kelp offers some resistance to frost, and that agricultural companies are starting to spray gel polymers to protect from frost, but is there something that works on the other end of the spectrum for heat (probably still kelp, fucking superfood). if there is anything i can use, can i use it this late in flower? normally i wouldnt spray past like w4 or 5 so this would be new territory for me. RH is a relative non issue, i can keep it at like 35% if needed. Also how would it be applied? Would i need to avoid spraying the buds completely?

Edit : yes i realize "Get an AC" is the solution. and in about a month when this is done thats going to be the first thing i go and get.

if frost is the issue then ur in deep shit

as you are in an indoor grow...?

increase the venting and heat if required

when shit happens a combination of neem oil and salic acid does wonders for repair

Not frost, heat stress, i was saying i know they use kelp and other things to help resist frost. was wondering if there was an equivalent to heat aside from getting an AC. Im getting a mini split installed but wont be able to do it until these are done.

I do have to keep my plants off of my floor in the winter though my basement floor might as well be the arctic ice shelf as far as my roots are concerned.

Why can't you do the mini split install? It will solve all the issues you are having, and the air handler is such a simple install (literally just mount the bracket, screw down the 3 wires, and connect the two refrigerant lines. An air handler install should literally take less than an hour.).

If it's a budget thing then I understand, but if you have the budget absolutely 100% go for the mini split now.

Need about 600 bucks to finish paying it off. Recently moved and got my compressor and everything upgraded from 2 ton to a 4 ton unit. Between the move and everything else I'm pretty strapped. I almost had to break into some old samples to finish my bloom nutes but I just barely scraped by. I will have enough to have it installed regardless of whether or not the harvest goes well, but if I can ease the stress a bit I can. It's warmer this week then last so my temps hopefully will be a bit better for a few days at least.

Word of advice for anyone here: Move before you have a child, because moving the same year has been extremely economically impractical for me lol.
