Heater/IR and night?

I have a space heater, it is isn't the typical type where a resistor gets hot and you see it glowing, instead it is a black panel that just seems to radiate with no human visible indication it is hot. Not sure that matters for my question.

Should I be concerned with the invisible spectrum this may be emitting during lights out? Does this concern (if there is one) apply to all heaters, or are there night time safe heating options?

just keep an eye on your humidity and temp it should be fine

light is all you need to worry about. if you cannot see it, it isn't light

With plants reacting to different spectrum then we do (or can see), and IR being invisible light felt as heat. My concern is that the largest source of IR would be the sun, then after dark, I imagine the ground then emits some IR with lowering intensity as it cools.

While I know many people use heaters, they usually have them outside a room or tent. With mine in the room aimed at the plants, I was curious as to potential impact of focused IR during dark period.

Your answer likely comes from direct experience over time, and no one else has chimed in to raise concerns about IR in veg, flower, or otherwise, so I'll take your word on it, but IR is definitely light, hence my concern/question.

I use what I think you are describing as well. No noticeable heat element but you can definitely feel it.

I've been considering one of these, do they adjust to the degree? How has it worked out for you?
