It sounds like you should have the two fans working to get hot air out of the box and one fan blowing fresh air in. Put one on the hood, and feed the hood with fresh air from outside the box. use the other to exhaust the air inside the room. You want to have more fan power going out of the room than going in...Cooling that hood will be a huge help. Good luck man, get those temps down before you put any plants in there!

I have a grow tent that I capped off a window AC and ran 6 inch ducting into the tent (from the AC) and it never gets over 80 degrees. I also made sure to buy an analog unit (not digital) and run it off a timer so its not constant but turns on every 15-30 minutes. I just set the temp dial, turn the switch to on, also turn the switch to high or low, and the timer does the rest.

oh ya and my tent is 4x4x6

Turn the intake fans around so they are removing hot air from the room, preferably from the top and close to the light. You do not need an intake fan. Simply leave a hole/s slightly smaller than the exhaust for air to enter through, cover it with a flap of poly or cardboard box, or make a wooden or metal light trap so air can get in but light can't.
Air will flow in just as fast is it is being sucked out, making the intake slightly smaller creates a bit of negative pressure, and stops smells leaking out.
Also make sure the exhausted air is going somewhere, not just into the room your box is in, or you'll just be cycling the same hot air all the time.
