Winter coming up here in the land of suns rising.
Sub-zero in a couple of months.

Growing on an LED and couple of CFLs to back it up.

Any tips on cheap heating methods?

try putting the electric ceramic heater behind the fan it will circulate the heat

Electric heat is a low up front investment followed by very high electric bills. But if you do go electric, I believe the oil filled heaters are more efficient than the coil heaters.

Much less fire danger also with an unattended heater.

An oil heater infront of a fan blowing towards your plants, that's how i do things when it gets cold downunda
