ok so i started growing some misty for about a week and 2 days ?? i think i over watered it

the stem at the bottom is really thick and kinda dried and the root is also a bit dried what can i do to save it ?????? please help i didn't watered it for 2 days it seems healthy at the top and the leaves are growing but the bottom is dying
