HEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!! 4 weeks into flowering!

My mother is 4 weeks into flowering, I'm growing in soil in a 3 gal bucket. I use technaflora recipe for success for nutes. I think I used too little of soil and the roots may be root bound or because I don't really know how to ph balance I don't use a meter, also I don't have a ph up and a ph down bottle. But my Mama is wilting slowly but surly over the past week. I watered about 4 days ago and the soil is still extremly wet! like it's not accepting nutrients. I don't have any yellow leaves my plant seems perfectly healthy besides the wilting and if it's cuz it's root bound, What do I do? The leaves are nice and green. Please help with what to do or whats wrong. IMG_20120623_012442.jpgIMG_20120623_012449.jpg

the leaves are your communication, healthy leaves + healthy roots = healthy plant

with that being said.

doesnt mean you dont have problems beginning..

-if your soil is extremely wet after 4 days then you could have to much water rentention in your mix, add lots of perlite
-as with more soil, just add it, you have plenty of room, if you need to trim the bottom fan leaf to make more room which i doubt you will, but none the less your roots should travel up to new soil so it would add a little more space
-you should really invest in pH UP, ph DOWN, and a digital pH meter, without these no matter how great your nutes are, OR even plain water, cannabis will not be able to absorb anything because the nutes wont be able to be absorbed into the water to the roots.. pH is important, dont go without it. (you can get all this for less then $40 off ebay)
-also im sure you know not to water until your container is light in weight, (always test the weight of your container when you put up a new one so you can feel what a dry pot feels like so you can compare when you have a full pot, another way is the top inch is dry means you need to water ..
-i do not beleive root bound should be to much of an issue if you add more soil

good luck

Omgosh! Thank you I was stressing so hard that I was gonna lose my plant. I'll add more soil tomorrow cuz it's in it's 12 hour off period right now. and buy a ph up and down in the next few days. I already have the digital ph meter. Again thank you so much.

I think from these pictures ph probably isn't too much of an issue . ok? I can see a couple of little issues that have corrected themselves since it happend early on. Those almost black leaves at the bottom, turning darker green toward the tops, indicate you started nukeing with nutes fairly early in the veg period,,, slight overdose. It looks as though you recognized this and corrected your feeding, or the plants compinsated and utilized the nutes with new growth, either way they seem to have recovered. The slight hooking on the tips of the leaves indicate iron/sulfer deficiantcy, remedy with micro nute feeding, purchase a small canister of these you will want them in your regiment. Rather than investing in up and down,(much simpler, organic ways to do this anyway) I.E sweeten with dolomite or hydrated lime, depending on your prefrence,(hydrated lime helps utilize nitrogen in soil as well as sweetening soil, good for large healthy seed and legume production). Therefore not the best choice for blooming plant issues. Dolomite is your best choice here! You can use well leached coffee grinds to raise acidity, these things will do the trick without buying a bunch of hydro bullshit! plenty writen on the use of these things and more, here on the forum. If you add soil to your blomming plant, be sure it is enert soil, do not grab a bag of "miricle grow potting soil" at the wallmart these type of soils will screw the pooch at this point, all those time realese soils are bad news during bloom. At most nursurys and home and garden centers, "Black gold" organic is available npk 0.05-0.0-0.0,
This would, for all intents and purposes, get ya through if" rootbound," is and issue, this not the case more than likely. I just don't see rootbound symptoms here, add on quart of perolite to three gal of black gold. If you have a wilting plant, and it is not ph isssue, yours is probably not too far off. If its not a overdose, or deficiantcy or bugs, then it has to be ENVIROMENTAL. Start with heat issues, is that alunimum foil? what type of lights besides, that cfl twist are you utilizing? In other words how hot is it in there? hows your ventilation? are you growing in a closed up room or basement? Plants will use the oxygen in the enviromental air rather quickly, then in the process of growing creates new o2 (oxygen). This does not happen instantaniosly. It does not produce o2 as fast as it uses it. A good out-side source of fresh air is important. Try reducing heat if it is above 84deg some strains don't even like it that hot, you need to reduce it, and let it cool 10 to 15 degrees at night . Get the foil outa there if that is what is taped to the wall. This is the best way to wake up to sirens and fire trucks, flat white paint is more reflective anyway, thats why they use it in surgery rooms. alunimum does not reflect more than 33 prcent of the light white paint 95 percent. alunimum magnifies light and retains/builds heat. Wrap a potatoe with it not your grow room. If ya need more," go private messages" and I'm more than glad to help ya do it the organic way !!!!!!!!
If you wan't to purchase something truelly usefull on ebay," buy" this Greg Greens "The cannabis Grow bible" It will be the soundest investment you will EVER make in your growing endevours.

" I watered about 4 days ago and the soil is still extremly wet!" No way can this be correct!
Your plant is wilting due to not enough water, I bet. Since it turned warm here I have
started watering in the AM and again in the PM. My plants looked just like your first pic
until they got their morning douche.

If that is a 3-gallon pot -- try giving them 16 ounces in the morning and another 16 ounces
in the evening. In the mean time get a spray bottle and water the droopy leaves. I'l bet you
the leaves start to un-curl almost immediately.

Finally -- get a long skinny stick, I use a bamboo skewer, and push it through your soil.
Pull it out and see if there is wet dirt sticking to the stick. That will tell you for sure that
your plant isn't wet after 4 days.

One other possibility is that the pot they are in has no drain holes drilled in it. In that case
it is possible for a newly flushed plant to still be wet after 4 days.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I have been known to pick a plant up by the stems and then add more soil underneath...I find that soil added on top of the pot stays on top of the pot, thusly never doing any good for the plant.

It is not uncommon for an indoor plant to stay wet for days after watering...
If you water a plant that already has wet soil then you are just causing more issue.

Wait...so which is it? Also I'm pretty sure foliar feeding encourages the plant to slow down root growth because it is getting fed through the leaves. While this isn't a bad thing normally spraying any kind of liquid on buds(he's obviously in flowering) is very very bad. This is assuming he's not even using fertilizer.

consistent foilar feeding will affect root growth, and while you can foilar feed while flowering, you have to pay close attention to not spray buds or sugar leaves, so while most people dont bother with it with the chance of ruining taste and causing mold
