I knew the auto's would work out nicely in my system for some reason.. Im just waiting but inevitabely i feel like i love the auto's and what they represent for any sustem so if i pimp them to the fullest extreme then maybe they will work well for me..

But im no pimp taking notes now. Thanks hefty bags and satan.

Hey man I'm impressed with your grow I'm just starting out myself. I'm wondering do auto flower genetics shorten your grow time since you get to give them more light? I'm growing 12/12 from seed right now so basically I'm all about that quick gratification. Do you think that these auto strains are a better option for SOG? If so I'm thinking rather than going 12/12 from seed i could go 20/4 from seed with the autos and cut down my grow time. With the genetics I'm using right now Im hoping for maybe an ounce per cut under a 400watt HPS. Is this reasonable to hope for with the auto strains you use?
Is there such a thing as feminized auto flowering plants?

yes there is fem auto's. Auto's will produce about an ounce if they get enough veg time before they change over. auto's should be run 18/6. with your running 12/12 from seed or clone your not going to yield much at all maybe a few grams.

Wacky will the plant take on the auto gene. How will you stablize it? what will you take the male or felmale auto? Which one hold more of the genes?

About half of everyone I talk to about this says the same thing you're saying but then when i read people's grow journals they can always come out with at least an ounce.

yes it will be autoflowerin,ill take genes from both croses and recross them together and see wich pheno i like best to then be a base plant to get worked on

hey koolaidaflavormix welcome and thanks for your post. bud i'm no expert on giving you advices on what strain to grow.
that's a decision what everybody has to make for him self. you just have to realize your dreams or somehow come close to what your dreams are
i just started growing recently me self, bud i'm sure if you grow the right way you can have gr8 results with any plant in all type of grows.

autoflowering is the way to go,
we just need the right cross & i'm sure we can create a smoke killa

your plants looking good. my auto ak 47 is only about 4-5 days old i got a 150w hps that puts out 15k lumens I will add cfls later on for it.

advantage of autoflower plant's is fast growing from seed to harvest in just 60-65days,18/6periode all time,super for closet grow,scrog,hydro grow,outdoor,bumper harvests,large choice of different varieties

advantages of autoflowering strains:

indoors:
with autoflower, there is no need for a change in the light period to induce flowering, nor is it necessary to have separate vegetative and flowering rooms.
only 8 to 9 weeks from sprouting to harvest.
easy to grow and no special care needed.
HPS or any other lights with high lumen rate are recomended

outdoors:
autoflower marijuana plants can easily be kept concealed because of its small size and early flowering, whether planted in fields, in gardens, on patios or even on windowsills.
When planted in the spring, it will produce ripe bud earlier than any available variety. It can be planted, grown and harvested several times per season (in one’s backyard for instance), without attracting undue attention.
