Okay this is my second post the first I got no answer so I have the day off to post a new.Alright let start with the grow info it’s my first grow ( photo) I use Ffof nothing added, um I use distilled water with cal mag, advance nutrients micro, bloom, grow when fed at about 50% now that I’m pretty sure I burned them but they actually bounced back pretty good. I water, feed, water is my only schedule I don’t test ph regularly maybe a couple of times with the liquid. My lights are 800 watts cobs (230 true watts) three plants under each. I’m like two and a half weeks into flowering I’m pretty sure I need more light intensity mind you all cobs running since veg. I don’t know to many people that grow so any input would be good. I don’t think I forgot anything let me know if my pics suck

First off welcome

Those pics are hard to look at lol. Very hard to identify anything under the blurples

The couple normal pics look good, they look nice and green. I did notice a little clawing on some leaves and one pic almost looks like overwatering. I dunno tho, I'm still new to all of this.

Hopefully one of the expierence growers will show up and give you some imput.

Best of luck

Even when the soil gets dry or when I do weigh test they always claw over for like this then go back to normal

Umm just wondering how their looking like I said I don’t know any other growers yet to ask.. I do have question when will start to smell them. I can get good smell of the stem that’s it.And is to late to prune still getting a lot veg growth

How much area does your canopy cover? 2 lights at 230 watt each should light about 5 square feet each. So 10 square feet total. So those 2 lights should do a 4x4 tent if both of them are in it. They look healthy to me but a little stretched as if the lower branches had to stretch to find light. If you had about 4 plants I think they wouldn’t have to compete as much for light.
I would leave nutrients at 50% from here on out unless you see a need to increase them.
Smells will start roughly week 5 depending on what you consider smells.

Looks very good I think. Yes, it is too late for more veg growth, but what you have will fill out just fine I think... What week of flowering are you in? They don't look burnt to me at all...

From the looks of it, you're in week 2-3 flower? You should start smelling them more in two weeks or so I would think... If the stems already smell good you'll have good tasting stuff...

Also, yes, they do look like they would have benefited from more light - this was the number one thing for me that made the most difference. To me, the way I can tell is just that the stems are kinda leggy, the nodes are too far apart. More light will get you shorter bushier plants... But overall, they really do look great, the leaf tips aren't burnt, and the color is good... best of luck!

Edit: after looking at your first pics, they really aren't that leggy, you did some topping already? Still, more light is almost always a good thing...

they look ok.
when they start to flower they can get very smelly, usually not so much in veg, unless you get very close, or touch them a lot.
it's a good idea to do your training in stages, to not stress the plants too much all at once. if you have some decent sized growth under the canopy that you don't think will have a chance to get any light, those are good clone candidates. even if you don't want clones, this would still be the time to get rid of them. i do a little light pruning once bud has set, usually about the third week of flower, but i don't defoliate like a lot of people do, i just take leaves that are blocking more than their surface area, or are just laying right on top of other growth. i don't do any leaf pruning in veg, unless they're unhealthy

Yes they are 3 weeks this Saturday and I topped once because just thinking cutting those leaves off made a little sick but after I seen what it does I should have done at 1more time

Yeah they are in about 3 weeks now you say it’s okay to prunE? I know I should’ve did more training but wasn’t confident enough to do you know with being my first time. I’m getting more light is it ever to late to add more light

I would say it’s never to late to add more light. And I would not be doing any pruning if I were you, they really don’t seem that bushy to me. Maybe just pinch off the little shoots as they start for the next few weeks.

Yeah, I agree no more pruning, it's fine as is. Just let them get lots of light, I've never worried about adding more... And keep that soil happy which it seems you're doing. I would think extra light at this point will just help make your flowers bit beefier.. Especially down low there... Keep us posted...

I agree with Brett I wouldn't prune those plants. At least not much maybe remove just a few of the lowest little sprouts that won't get good light or ever grow much.

More light would be great for them. I use a 1k hps to cover a 4x4 area and it sits 14 inches above the canopy so that my plants get as much light as possible.

I also want to point out something important if your going to count the days or weeks of the grow. Flower time begins when the plant begins to form flowers NOT when you switch the lights. The plants have a transition period they need to go through. That transition takes 7-14 most of the time. Your plants look to me like they just around 1.5-2 weeks into flower.

Oh okay, thank you for telling me that I was unaware about the light transition so I’m looking around a week and a half. hey thanks everybody for the info I be sure to update each person in a couple weeks thanks

I think they look good. I've said before I'm more of a trainer/tying down than a pruner (unless it's really really sick leaves/shoots)...

I always do any pruning or training in veg - once the buds come leave it alone - too late - you reap what you sow.... etc etc etc

There's differing opinions on the matter - you'll have to form your own with experience and a whole lot of reading....
