If in PR why grow indoor and not utilize the sun and supplement when necessary or when you feel the need? Asking because im currently prepping to do something as I stated above..
problem i have is, i live in an urban area, and not only that, i also have very nosy neighbors that can present future problems =\

since my last post ive actually tried to do some test runs and i just dont have enough cool air to supply my setup, i am now saving for a inverter a/c..
from what i see it will be very hard not to get hermies or just males from high heat / restricted airflow situation.. sucks but i will have to wait even longer

Damn. idk why.. But when you said Puerto Rico I thought of like rainforests and toucans lmao! I live in Hawaii and most of the growers ive met are doing some variation of a DIY greenhouse and just making sure they have enough fans In the right areas to combat that. Like you said tho.. Not really an option for you. How big is the room and how big is the ac? You can't get away with using one of those ones from like Costco or Walmart that have wheels instead of spending 1k or so on the bigger ac?

we definitly have rainforests and all that movie type stuff but im far from those locations hahah i live closer to the beach, i wiiish i was able to do it outdoor like i was able to in the past but i just dont hav an option now =\
the a/c unit im shooting for is a 12k BTU, will set me back about 600$ the window or floor a/c units just consume too much amperage compared to the inverter so its pretty much the only option =D
the room is about 12ftx10ft however im only using a closet tent thats 6'x2'x4' with a sp250, i tried going full on budget but it wont happen with the type of heat we get here, only now in nov we are in the 86F daily highs with 79F for lows, im pretty sure i turn on that sp250 itll get up closer to 95-98.. and never mind about humidity ive never seen it lower than 56%
i guess i will have to keep waiting till all the stars align for some progress in my garden, but i will keep everyone posted for sure hopefully by the summer things will get better
