It's pretty hard to fuck it up man. It's got to be something really obvious your doing wrong. Then didn't grow much in two weeks as a matter of a fact looks like they barely got any nutrition from the soil.

If you bake your soil you need to re inoculate it with some raw worm castings or compost or endomycorrhizae. Then you need to let it incubate for a few weeks to get it back alive. Next time you bake put it at about 200F for two hours then re inoculate and incubate.

Fuck it's easier to just get some roots organic or biobiz or even foxfarm.

Try some castings or tea and see if they bounce back. Or fuckit just start over and save yourself some time.

Don't feel bad man, chances are you won't fuck up like this again.

Actually nor sure of the specs on the lights, got them from a friend of mine, who no longer needed them, kinda on a tight budget but they worked for him so yeah either the water or the particular soil. Ph of the waters fine and there no chlorine , not sure what else it could be.

about 5.8 i bealive, idk something i picked up that shows moisture and ph, not bad at all ill post a pic in a few

I dont think so, go to a nursery or a hydro store. they are actually HELLA cheap. just say your looking for rock wool cubes, i get the good sized ones which to me look basic (remember ur putting in a regular cup you can get from fast food place haha)

and ALSO in NURSERYS they ALWAYS ask what your growing because its annoying as fuck so just say "my friend just told me to come by here and look for 'rock wool cubes' I dont even know what they are haha, but i guess thats what happens when you can drive a car" (im 19 so that totally works for me and it works for ANYTHING lmfao"

if the light is a floro the specs should be on the base of the bulb, or even looking for wording the describes the color of the light would be good enough for RIU to determine the type of spectrum.

You could have the driest medium, and the shittiest water and most sprouts will still grow.

That's why I have to believe that it was definitely something you did.
Most of the time, you don't need to bake your soil unless you plan on reusing it. "My friend did this and that...."
Your friend is better at growing weed than you. Don't skirt the fundamentals till you got them down.
If you wanna kill some bugs and bacteria in your soil you should solarize it.
Put your new soil in a garbage bag, tie a big knot in the top and set it in the hot sun for a full day or three. It will kill most of the bugs that came with the bag.

it looks like you either under or over watered, the room was too hot, and judging by the leave curl in the pictures, you gave them too much nutrients. either from the soil or teh fertilizer.

I've done a lot of soil mixing in my day and I'm starting to think the Roots is actually a pretty decent soil. I like to feed with teas so I don't really need a super full bodied soil.

pH Meter: Oakton PCS Testr 35. Keep it dry when you're not using it and it should last a long time. The big mistake is storing it in a solution or tap water. Even bigger mistake is storing it in di water. The tester probe is loaded with KCl and storing it dry keeps the salt inside the longest. You just rehydrate it for a bout 20 minutes before you use it. Also it has 3 and 5 point calibration but you can cal with the 7.0 and just ignore the 4 and the 10. Single point is pretty good for horticulture.

Not sure if I sensed some sarcasm back in your previous post....I was just thinking out loud and going full circle. I don't know if he cares to revive or just start over. Might be good for him to just stop watering or giving it anything for about a week and see what happens. When I was a new grower I fucked around with my plants way to much and sometimes caused them more harm than good.

@beansly yeah i understand but ive also used lightly cooked ( just above most living temps) for a few hours and grown vegtables the room is 79 degrees and theyve lived for 2 weeks with no boosts in anything. and yes i agree, 1/2 the people on here know little to nothing , i got lucky because some people make some sence, ive researched a hell of a lot and havent seen much advice on a situation like this so i took my last resort in desperation.

Absolutely. The ocean forest is strong for seedlings. You can fill pots about 70percent with the FFOF and fill the top with seedling starter. Then stick your cubes in there and they will acclimate to the new soil. Also you're going to leach some of the nutrients out of the FFOF on your first good watering so that will help keep the seedling from burning. I still mix in some castings and perlite with any soil I buy. MJ like lots of drainage. So put the castings and perlite in both layers of soil.

My favorite thing for my soil is algae meal/emulsion and some sort of root inoculant. I got an ounce of Zho inoculant and it lasted me quite a while. It's the Glomus intradices that really does most of the work for the MJ. If you're inocluant has between 4 to 7 different species of Glomus you should be very good to go. There are products that are touting up to 16 different types of rizosphere microbes but most of them really don't do shit for MJ.

And I always give the soil a tsp of molasses or succanant every time I water it keeps the mycorrhizae and bacteria jamming.

Lmfao haha i love the sprout section of your post.

great info on the Solarizing part!! but question.. my soil came in a bag.. and it was outside in the sun.. i used it to plant and there are fucking flys now, hella crazy.. but than again who knows maybe the bags the soil comes in are aireated through tiny ass breathing holes that are smaller than of what the eye can see.

and honestly i dont wanna bake some soil in my conventional oven, so the sun idea is a very great and BASED on what you said, a more effecient alternative. :]

and yeah maybe the room was too hot, i always assume people have auscilating fans in the room for some reason... and the leaf curl is what happened to mine but only when i sprayed organic pesticide for the fly problem..

Beansly look at my pic on the plant to the left or right, the leaf furthest right has those mini little yellow white scratches, what do you think those are? i thought a very very mild case of spider mites.. what do u think man? and unfortunatly i still needa get my 30x mico scope.

yeah man! on ur new growing part.. i feel i may have walked that path last night haha i just pinched off a new growth on the weaker plant.. and for the better plant.. i couldnt find scissor so i straight up just.. Pinched a growth.. i didnt pinch off i just pinched lmfao so i dunno if thats all bad. but theres this section on top of main stem where you can see four branches coming off of.. should i snip off right in the middle so i snip off all four branches and am left off with a stem and a thick upper part or whaaa? i hope ya get what im saying man. but they are 3 weeks old or 3.5 weeks old

Thanks. Yeah I didn't even do it the way I said to. That's just the easiest way.
I bought some fox farm happy frog the other day. Fox Farm is supposed to be full of bugs so I dumped it all in a wheel barrow, cut a garbage bottom off, then in half, and wrapped it over the top of the soil in the wheel barrow. Then I just put rocks around the edges so it wouldn't fly off. No bugs as of yet, so we'll see.
