im currently four weeks into flower plants look amzaing apart from top cola on one of the plants has turned brown an crispy not sure if its burnt or maybe mold any help would b appreciated thanks.
You should always remove dead plant matter, if it does get moist (like at the base near the stem) mold can grow on it. I've even had little tiny puffballs of mold on old stems that had been cut, just a nub on the stalk.
I have a hot spot about 2" across coming off an HPS. I find it with my hand when I move the plants and make sure it goes between leaves and branches. Really good even light except that one beam. Nice long cola there, top must be a lot closer to the light than the lower end. I would leave the dead stuff there to insulate the next row, can't hurt if the top is already dead. And no open wounds that way, poor baby already in pain.
ive lowered the plant now about 8 inches left the other two plants at the same height as they r fine will there b new growth over the old crispy stuff then?
^There won't be no new growth over the crispy stuff, it's pretty much done getting any taller. The buds below will continue to fill out, but that top section is pretty much toast(literally.lol)
