help a herb smoker out

hey everyone im new to the forum but i have been doing alot of research on growing and wanted to know what im doing before wasting seeds i recently moved to brasil(where cannabis here is black with chemicals sprayed all over and me coming from the u.s wont smoke this shit if they payed me so im planing on growing some og kush-ice and wonder woman( so i have a few questions if a high human being would lik to help me smoke some fire green

1.here we dont have the same soil as u buy in the u.s such as fox farm etc. is there a way of making your own soil to fit the plants needs?

2.they say i will need a certain light for veg and hps for flowering is that true and what would be the veg light?

3 i will be growing 2 plants at a time so what hps lighting would i need i was thinkin about a 600 or 400 hps lamp? which would be better? and help me in the harvest in the long run?

4. like i said im in brasil so i dont know anywhere to buy nutrients for the plants so can i also make my own ?? or whats the most popular thing i can use that most likely they would have here?

5. i dont know if grow the 20:4 18:6 or 12:12?

i hope i havent asked the same old question that everyone asks so if anyone would be polite enough to help me out i would reallly apreciate it much love

For vegging u can buy a MH/HPS compatible ballast so u can run ur HPS light and MH light on the same system.MH is better for vegging and hps for flowering,this is what i would do for vegging and flowering.

for 2 plants a 400 wouldnt be bad but a 600 would def help and shit,the higher the wattage the more u should yield depending on how good u are at growing.but theres plenty of 400 wtt and 600 watt hps systems out there that also run MH bulbs so just look around.bulbs arent htat expensive either.

I use 18-6 for vegging the plant and 12-12 is used for flowering the plant,so u should veg as loing as ud like.it depends on how much room u ahve to work with

well the nutes im using are some free organic ones i got from some website,they r really good they r bio-grow and bio-bloom from biobizz they r pretty damn good and haven tburned a plant on me yet in 3 grows vegging with them,never got to flower a plant yet sadly hopefully this grow.people say start off with like 25% strength for nutes and gradually increase,anyone else care to give som efeedback?

wohooo Brazil! hey man, you dont have to worry about the soil so much bro. just go buy any random soil made for flowers. works like a charm
you could use CFL's durin veg too. much cheaper and doesnt give off as much heat as a 400 HPS

so then i could use cfls but how many watts would i be needing for the veg time? and yeh im in brasil but cant stand the heat here man the weathers to hot in the area im in so i would be probably doubling up on the fans for my grow do you guys know of any strains thats doesnt stink to much? cuz odor might be a problem if its to strong so are there any specific strains that has less odor? and i guess ill go to a garden shop and see whats a good soil they got in hand then if anything

anyone know of any strains that does good in the heat ?
