best advice i can give you is scrap the hydro idea and grow with soil.

i dont think the aquarium will work. You need to build a DWC unit with airstone or buy one.

your wasting your time with a fish tank!!! get some ideas from my room !!!read my journal.....alot of people will steer u the wrong way !!

If you need a cheap way to ventilate your room i made this up for under $20. Its works F'ing Awesome!! If I could I would post a video of my hair blowing in the wind I would. I have no clue how long it will last but its lasted me a couple weeks now. I plugged it into its own power strip just in case it blows a fuse or something.

Walmart - $12 this black fan that about 10" I think.

Home Depot - $6 Ducking reducer - 8" to 6".

Just stick some good ol Duck Tape around the edges of reducer and place over fan. It almost fits exact. But the duct tape finishes off the seal. I can't tell you how much it helped with my heat issues.
