Help Advice on Grow Op

Hi,
I am new to growing and attached a picture with my setup hoping for some suggestions and help with a few questions i had. I have been reading a lot on this site and was concerned with CO2 and fans. Do i need CO2 while my plants are still small and vegging and also should i position a fan in any way? I have a window in the room im growing behind the broken TV if you can see that. I have seen a few easy CO2 set ups and was just thinking of making one of those and setting it inbetween my 5 plants. Im running at 600w too. Any suggestions for improvement from what you can see is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

...Also was wondering if i could mix my AzaMax in with my nutrients and water during feeding. If anyone knows...

You can use CO2 during any stage of veg. I use CO2 tablets that you buy at aquarium supply stores.

I would suggest you wall in your grow area. All light that is not being absorbed by your plants is lost. If you wall in your grow area and line it with a reflective material or paint them flat white, the light will bounce off of that and be reflected onto the plant. Also if you use CO2, it will keep it from just falling to the floor and flowing away from your plants.

Keep in mind that plants double or more in size when they flower. You might want to set up 3 areas: A cloning/seedling area, a veg/mother area, and a flowering area, plus a place to dry your harvest.

You have a lot of time before all that comes to pass, but now is the time to act so you are not screwed later.

New pic of inside plastic ceiling to floor grow room


so i have moved my gro op into the corner near the window wrapped in some nice white plastic. It is near a window and i saw someone posted about a carbon filter Easy to Build DIY Carbon Filter
would it be beneficial to make one of these going from the window into the plastic room? also i bought a nice small little fan to throw inside too.

also, i was considering ventilation. i was reading around and saw there should be a small hole at top for air to come out of with fan up there pointing outward and a larger hole towards the bottom for air to come in. Would it work the same if i cut a door, which i did, and it is dangling from the plastic, not flush but close enough...would that work for my intake, the new air coming in. Hope someone can help me, thanks again.

Depending on where you are, the window may be a souce for a draft, or prying eyes. Putting plasic up will help nicely with your lighting. Would you consder building a box to house your grow?


Look at it like your car. If you crack one window just a bit, and open another one on the other side about 3x as much, more air will be blowing in the one side, raising the air pressure in the car. The only outlet to the lower pressure is thru the cracked window. You will notice the suction if you hold a cigarette near it. The same with your tent.

Light a cig or a match and watch how the smoke flows to see if its working or not.
