help and ideas needed!!

Hey im in the process of designing my 2nd grow room at a new location and im trying to figure out how many plants to do in my grow and how to maximize my grow for max yield. I have a 400 watt hps light for my flowering room and Im going to buy some fluorescents for my veg room. I would really like to have a harvest coming in every 2 weeks. my problem is i dont know how many flowering plants i can fit under my 400 watt hps light so i have no idea how many plants i should have in my operation or how many fluorescents to get. If someone could recommend a number of plants or throw some numbers at me that would be great. any comments or help are greatly appreciated. pretty much i wanna know the maximum number of plants i could get going with my setup. The strains im growing are ak48, mazar, and trainwreck if that helps any lol

400 w=9 squared feet, your gonna need a really big veg and flower room to harvest every 2 weeks

no i meant every two weeks. i was planning on doing a SOG. thats why im asking if i have 9 squared feet how many plants can i fit in my flowering room with that much space? What would be my best option for this setup? if i change my harvesting times to every 3 or 4 weeks can i increase my yield? i just really have no idea what im doing my last grow was just a normal seed to bud grow no cloning or sog involved so im completely new to this.

2 weeks is ridiculous man, you can't do that with 9 squared feet unless you dont expect to have plants taller than a foot and start growing a new plant every 2 weeks. and then you'll need twice as big a grow room. if you are growing new plants every two weeks the pot has to be less than a gallon and your yield is going to be like a 1/4th per plant. i'd say you could fit 12-20 in 9 squared feet if the pots are less than a gal. i'd say just get like 4-6 fems and let the get big

You don't have enough space to harvest every 2 weeks.
I've tried it before, it doesn't work.

I dont see how you could do it with a SOG, but maybe you could put a big plant into your flower room every 2 weeks until you have like 5 in there. You would have to raise the new shorter plants up to the light to keep the canopy even, and lower them to the floor as they grow.

well i have 3 secluded rooms i could ultimately use so space isn't much of a problem. I was planning on having plants in my flowering room at different stages so every two weeks i could get a harvest. like maybe 4 plants every harvest. that means i would have to have around 30 plants going at once depending on how many mothers i end up keeping. Like 16 in the flowering room at different stages and around 15 in my veg room at different stages. am i completely off in my thinking or am i on the right track? i have no idea what to do im so lost haha. if im doing a sog isnt the whole point to get crops fast and do as many plants as possible? help me! haha

you would need about 20 squared foot veg and a 40 squared foot flower to do that every 2 weeks to see decent yields

Your plan seems like it would work, it's just going to be a hell of a lot of hard work and a pain in the ass. I imagine cramming 16 plants in there all at different heights and stages would be frustrating. SOG is good for increasing your yield when you dont have the room to grow full sized plants. If I was you and really wanted to SOG I would go ahead and start out that way with the first crop if you're starting from seed, pick out a mother, then grow bigger plants from the clones when it comes to the 2nd crop and beginning the perpetual harvest.
