Help, autoflower is flowering too soon!!

Hey there and thanks for reading. So I've got three autoflowers going, two of them are starting to flower and they're only about 3 weeks old. They're barely 3 in tall and I'm already starting to see white pistols coming out the top and sides. I ordered the seeds from seedsman.com. They where the little side bonus seeds that they throw in. They said it was Critical 2.0 auto. They came in a little plastic baggie with a white sticker that just said critical 2.0. I kind of feel like they were just thrown in the mix just without anybody really caring about what particular strain it might be, I mean how could anything be proven legit or not legit. I've had bad luck with a few of their seeds before when they have come packaged like this. I still order from them but as of late it's only been fastbuds due to the fact that it's a sealed package that's basically certified officially from Fast buds. Back to my point, has anybody experienced this before? What should I do? Should I just ride it out and let it grow and see what happens. The previous fast buds auto that I had didn't start flowering until about 5 or 6 weeks and grew about 3 ft tall. Seems about right to me. However these critical 2.0 autos seem to be flowering way too soon, especially for the size they are. Again, what should I do? All advice welcomed. Photos attached only using one plant as the example.20220923_110246.jpg20220923_110224.jpg20220923_110158.jpg

Part of the reason I haven't ventured into auto period plants is the wild variability I've seen people post about. I may buy some seeds and put some outdoor next season and whatever happens, happens.

Enter your plant in a solo cup challenge?

From what I understand, with autos, there is no too soon or too late. It is just right. And just right is whenever it decides to go. So, your choices are bin it or just roll with it and see what you get. If you have more of theses seeds and/or plan to grow this strain again, I would definitely log everything about the grow down to the day so you know what to expect next go round. Not to mention, you may see something you can change that will give it more growth or hold the flowering off another few days. Good luck on the grow!!!

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, it will get alot bigger during tbe stretch tho.
My only advise is don't run autos just use photo strains, and flower them whenever there the size you want them.

Next time get out of that cup & into a 3gal pot sooner.
The roots probably filled the cup. so it said "Fuck it I'm ready to flower in this little ass space." basically.
You're telling me to get it out of a cup and into a 3 gallon pot sooner. It's only 3 weeks old. I've seen seasoned growers with photo periods and autos up to five or six weeks in containers smaller than this. Look at the picture, she's healthy as can be. This has nothing to do with container size.

Answer: Yes, that's my suggestion.

You were watching them grow different genetics I can only assume.

So is this one of those trick threads where the OP swats away suggestions, because he already knows the solution?

I put my clones into pots bigger than that as soon as the have a couple small roots and they root them out in about a week.

Hydro's cloned autos. I'd take his advice.

Now that's an achievement.
It was fun for sure.
I documented it here:

Edit: Now that I look back, I see misting the leaves was a bad idea. It caused them to fry a little.
However they survived, got better & finished. Got almost 8oz from 1 auto seed.
May not have been able to keep it going with more cuts like a photo, but it increased yield for sure.

As soon as the tap root hits the bottom it will start to flower, start out in final pot or prepare to transplant earlier

First time growing autos here. My White Widow threw pistils at day 14 & only 5 inches tall but now it's 5wks old and has grown to 3 feet. Another auto I'm growing 'Cheese' had pistils at 3wks old, it was 9 inches tall, now it's 6wks old & 1m tall. So I'd say don't give up on them yet, it appears they do start to take off after the first few weeks. I assumed mine were slow to start as I started them in there final pots. Cheers

Don't give-up, let it ride and see what happens. Autos are not as bad as some make them out to be; they have their place. I've seen autos start throwing pistils and after some selective trimming and pruning, weeks later she's still vegging like crazy. I'm working on one now that is finally growing some beautiful flowers; she's on day 104 from sprouting and will probably go another 6 weeks, whereas her sister plant next to her finished, was chopped and is now drying. I was going to give-up on her a few times and decided to ride it out. She and her sister filled a 3x4 tent to overlapping each other and touching the sides. Good luck and have fun.

Only reason an auto will usually flowers too early is stress, that cup is tiny to start with and autos dont like stress so that should of been planted in its final pot the moment the root appeared, transplant it asap then just watered very lightly until it develops its roots. Hopefully you can get that soil out in 1 piece and transplant it with little stress, give it 24 hours before watering though.
