Help Badly Needed !!

Hi all,

Really could do with some help !

I've been trawling forums for ages now and I'm at a loss as to whats going on.

My girls are starting to curl upwards have brown edges and some brown patches on the leaves, Magnesium I see mentioned as the problem, heat stress, loads of other suggestions so heres my grow details and pics.

Nutrients - Hesi Grow, Supervit, Root Complex & Enzyme @ 20% Strength
Veg Stage 6 weeks
Shiva Haze and Jackberry
400w HPS - 60cm above the tops with reflector
Temps between 22C & 29C
Hum between 50% - 70%
Extractor Fan & Oscillating Fan running 30 minutes every 2 hours alternatively (control heat and air flow)
Soil less Mapito Mix (Reused previous no problems)
PH of Tap Water 8.2 PH Down when feeding or Flushing to 5.8/6.2
PPM of Tap Water 85/95 PPM with nutrients 140/150 PPM
3 Gallon Pots
Feeding once per week always with nutrients (using the weight method or finger in to knuckle to determine feeding once a week based on that)

Last week I flushed them with 6.2 PH water as they were showing what I though was some nitrogen issues and a couple of odd bits like turning leaves and I hadn't flushed them since the start, the flush was done 5 days ago now and these symptoms started today rapidly.

Any suggestions as I dont know what to do with them and they are starting to get to the dry end of the feeding when they need to be watered or fed again !!

The medium is not working, the feeding is too weak and its too hot. Feed them hydro veg nutes full str every watering (not 20% strength with watering in between ), try to get temps under 27 and things should improve a lot. Use coco next time and try not to re use mediums.

There in shock stress I would flush then B12 and wait for a sign no more then 3-5 days then start feeding but yea "Buds" is right get the temp down for sure. Good Luck I hate to see a sick plant

Thanks for the suggestions, the mapito is meant to be a reusable medium when flushed and enzyme used to break up salts but I guess it might have run its course. Never used coco before next time I may try

The nutes are hydro nutes do you think full strength would burn them I've read so much about less is more etc so afraid to go over 50% with them.

I've adjusted the fans to get the heat sorted below 27c

Sorry for asking buts what's B12 them ?

And with the pot size is 1 feed a week a normal amount or should it be more

Stop fucking with them so much, get rid of the grow medium and get Hydroton if you can.

There is no reason you should be flushing plants at all. NONE.

Hi tobleroneboi!
Take out the whole plant from the medium carefully, wash off all the shit from roots gently, and put them in a new mapito, use only mapito nothing else. For food use 2ml-lit TNT or grow and 1ml-lit bloom and 1ml-lit green calmag, rootcmplex and a drop of superthrive for a 4 lit of water. This will give you 1.0EC or somewhere around 1.1EC max.Air intake every 15 min on 15 min of.Mix 1ml-lit green calmag
and spray them with every feeding.Makesure you have runoff always when you feeding them, runoff should be around 30%,put runoff back in reservoir. You must do this w every feeding. No pure water at all!

Use Hesi nutrients as directed by the maker!!!!!!
Supervit is overpriced and contains Plant growth regulators.....ONLY use in veg. !!!!!
Roots is to be used ONCE every 3rd or 4th watering (1-2 times a week). This is the new way to use it as directed by Hesi (They don't tell small scale users of these "updates" in feeding sched. changes from new formulations) ONLY in veg. !
Superthrive is much like supervit. Same basic idea and growth regulators (Plant Hormones). Waste of money and should only be used in veg. if you do !

Here's something you should all know. The use of Hesi SuperVit or Superthrive in bloom DOES promote the plant towards Herming/Flipping !!! Doesn't mean it WILL happen. It just means that if the plant is edging in that direction, it will PROMOTE the flipping to Herm....

Your plants looked starved - feed them......The above suggested foliar will help out the low N right away.

Skip the B vits as they are IN the Hesi grow nutient.....
Use a kelp extract and that will have the extra vits and Humic and Fulvic acids you need also....Great way to get micro nutrients too.
