Help big problem!!!!

OK last night someone broke into my house and broke into my safe but was disappointed when it was empty and they security for the complex called the police to report the burglary and he called me this morning and told me what had happened and said that the police brought dogs in and he told us that they found 4 plants and a bunch of pipes and bongs. but our friend who lives there went there today and told us that everything was still in the house and that nothing had been disturbed. so he took all the plants out and took them to a friends house, they are safe! would police do this???? anyone know anything unlawful search and seizure. i know they didnt take anything but is that why because of that law, can they still do anything??? let me know what you think of if you have any questions

maybe they were stoner cops? i cant see a cop comming across all that and not taking it even if he doesnt have the right to! but i cant see them bringing drug dogs to a burglery call

Anything found in plain site while in execution of official duties can be used against you. They probably just didnt want to bother with it at the time, but stand by cuz you aint heard the last of it yet. Keep the plants and stuff off the residence for a while just to be safe. :hump:

if a cop was called in because of a robbery and he stumbled upon some plants, then he can legitimately and legally arrest whoever owns the plants. now, this whole situation seems dodgy. who knew about your grow? if we had more details, we could theorize a bit more.

My opinion is your landlord is a snoopy fucker. I think he was snoopin in your like some landlordes do. If police had come some shit would have gone down. he probly made up the police story so you would get freaked and ditch the plants.Maybe consider a hidden camera...you never know and with things like that happen you have to consider every posibility. Ive had this problem i was told the cops called to say they herd i had a grow op MHM i bealeve that NOT

not true. it was an illegal entering of the home based on a compleatly different crime. im surprised they didnt take all of it. like bone daddy said they probly just didnt want to deal with it. even if they did they couldnt charge you on the grounds that that is illegal search and siezure. the worst they could do is take your pipes pull your plants and say "NO! BAD STONER" and keep an eye on your place for a bit. i know... it happened to me last year :spew:

now if they had stumbled upon 10 plants... even 6 (6 is a felony) they would have done something about it, since it was 3 plants they could charge you with a mistemenor if they were there for you growing weed specifically. the charge for all the pipes would be around the same as the charge for 3 plants...

ok the security for our complex called and let the cops in. they plants were not in plain view and niether were the pieces all was hidden thats whats fishy right...

There are chances that they did. In fact if a complex has security, once that alarm goes off the police have all rights to go into your place. Take it from me I know firsthand and almost got my ass busted because of it. The reason the stuff was still at your place because they didn’t have a warrant. So get all the crap that they can find out of the place. When they ask what you did with it all say you destroyed it all and realize its bad for you!

and the guys isnt really security he is an maintenance and we have no security system the guy called the cops
