help big problems

i have plants 4 weeks into flower,i had someone water and nute them one week while i was away,i got back and the leaves were copper colored and dried out i was told to flush with a mild nutrient and let it run out the bottom,i didnt like this idea because i thought it would have enough nutes that it needed no more,i was assured this was the way and in the grow bible it says also to flush with a mild solution and let it run out the bottom,to make a long story short the problem got worse,yesterday i took off over half the leaves they were so damaged and the remaining have nute burn as well,i dont know weather to just let them finish or chuck them and put in new plants,i hate to waste 6 weeks veg and 4 weeks flowering,but they are budding up nice but i cant see it continueing with out the many leafs it needs,i have no idea how to down load pictures and ive asked my son repeated times to come north and show me.has any one flowered a plant severly damaged and missing half its leaves,and what would be my best option.

try to have pebbles in the bottom of your pots.
use some epsom salts mixed with water to flush, not food, your trying to flush all the unwanted stored up food away.

flush with pHed water with no nutes in it. its the only way to truly leech the soil out. if the leaves are dead just cut them off. no need for them as they will not regenerate once they have lost their green and yellow coloring. spray the leaves with pHed water so it can evaporate some stuff away. then when they seem to be bouncing back into life try a low nutrient solution.

Okay so on to the lesson in regards to uploading pictures.

1) Take pics

2) Look at your camera and find out where a USB hook up will go.

3) Plug USB cord into camera

4) Plug USB into computer

5) Hardware detected should automatically pop up, if not turn off your camera and try it again.,

6) Upload pics to computer. (I just save pics to desktop to make life easier)

7) Start a new thread

To attach files: scroll down when you are done writing your new post and click manage attachments, you should see a new screen pop up that says upload, browse, etc. Upload the pics to rollitup.org

I hope that helps, if not I can troubleshoot more.

if they were just fed can i still leach the soil or should i wait for it to dry out abit the last feeding last night was a very mild solution,has any one followed through the flowering stage with over half the leaves removed and the other half damaged at the 4 week mark,i could probably cut at 7 weeks i have cut rhino at 7 weeks before it was not the couchlock high it was more uplifting but it als wore off quicker.

dont harvest early. that wouldnt be worth it. yeah you can leech them out even if you just watered them. so long as you have good drainage that is. and decent ventilation. good luck.

ya i wish i could,i dont even have my camera here my son has it and i have some pics on it that i wanted down loaded to show you guys,now my son tells me he doesant know were it is,it is getting frustrating,if i knew he would act like this i would of left him at the hospital 18 years ago lol,if i cant get the camera tommorow i am buying another one,and have my buddy download the program and help me put pics up.but by then i wont have plants to worry about.it is funny but the blueberry and the ice and ak47 never suffered the nute burn but they are just a few plants the most of the plants are rhino.

ya i have good drainage im useing sunshine #4,the hard part is i just crawled in there last night and did them all and after 4 back surgeries i dont think i can do it for another few days im in serious pain with alot of spasming,hence the reason i grow.

ya i dont understand why i was told to leach with a mild solution,if i had leeched it with phed water then i would be good right now,now im screwed,i cant see them makeing 71/2 weeks or even 7.were will they get there food from if theleaves are not there to use the light,i will only have the small leaves that form between the bud the little leaf used for makeing hash,i dont think they absorb much light to feed the plant but i could be wrong,maybe they still form decent smoke but just not alot of it,then they are worth saveing instead of putting in new plants.

trapper, from the sounds of it, i think there are two possiblilities.

first; are you using a super phosphate? ie, 10-53-12.....? if so, you probably have a phos toxicity which is causing ph imbalance that is locking out mg. if this isn't it.....

then you have an overwatering issue; plants that are overwatered can sometimes get rusty/coppery crinkly, with an overall droop.

thanks all,im useing advance nutes grow,micro,bloom,and bat guano,and sometimes b52,but i dont like putting alot of stuff in my water,i also have good drainage and only water about every 7 days.it is only the rhin strain that couldnt handle the extra nutes or whatever mistake was made while i was gone.so im lost i just hope they can finish,but i cant see how with so few leaves,nice buds they are were they should be but that will probably come to an abrupt stop.

There is an amazing amount of energy stored in a plant, especially when you've been using a super premium brand like Advanced Nutrients. Maybe more light would compensate for fewer leaves? ...it's just a thought.

i hope so,it would be hard to cut them after all the work from clones to 4 weeks in flower,but if it isnt going to finish i would do it and put in fresh plants,have you ever had a severly damaged plant that you let finish.thanks.

I bought (paid for) a tri-meter from Stealth Hydro but it was about two months before I actually got it. Not only that but it was a POS and the readings were way off. I was adding over two cups of pH down to 3 liters of water just to get it down close to 6.5. I knew that it had to be wrong but I kept trusting the damn thing. My plants started dying, leaves all blotchy. I noticed that my eyes burned and I could almost taste an acidic film in the air anywhere near my grow cabinet. Finally, with my plants on their last leg, I decided that the meter was wrong and I needed to flush my plants. I did and within a week they came back strong with new growth like crazy. You would never know they had ever been in trouble. BTW, I've been using Advanced Nutrients products my entire grow - and nothing else.

potpimp were they in flower at the time,because they dont get much new growth during flowering do they.

No, they were in veg at that time. I have seen new growth during flowering but I'm only 42 days into it on my first grow so I can't speak with a lot of experience.

ya i believe there is a little in the first week or so but i dont think there is much after that,not that i can remember,but i cant remember much,i want to go into town and get a camera but its so danm cold its minus 28,but at least canada beat finland,that makes the day warmer lol.i have to learn how to do an avitar.

does any one know what epsom salt does and would that be beneficial.
