Help, blooming too soon!

Hi folks...thanks so much for a fascinating site. Smoked my first doobie in '61. Now renal cell carcinoma fall-out and my first 420 grow show.

Extreme Nor Cal. 3500 ft. above sea level. Good chance of a frost in Sept. GDP, Blue Diesel #2, a Blue Dream, and an AK were all re-potted into 10 gal. the week of 5-12 and held in 24 hr. light in my greenhouse until about two weeks ago when I put them all outside. They tested low on nutes 3 days ago, and I gave them a pretty good shot of compost tea followed by a good deep watering the following day. Last night in a different light, all the tops seemed to look different, and today an experienced grower said she thought the Diesels were starting to flower.

She suggested getting them back under 24 hour light. I can do up to 6- 48" florescent tubes back in my greenhouse.

I might get 70 days of flowering out doors before the danger of destruction or damage by weather (mold) is a reality.

The Diesels got a late start (cold ass weather) and are only about 30" tall, but growing like weeds. July 4 photos, with one from about two weeks ago.

Those flowers may have just been preflowers...I'm in the Bay Area...and my outdoor plants started flowering in early June. Weird. But they went back into veg and are doing well now. You really can't do any better than good Cali sun. I suggest you leave them out...we're far enough into Summer now - don't see how they could go into flower with these long days.

I was pretty sure I was aware of the pre-flower stage. It was when I confirmed the genders of the clones. These girls were topped a month ago and I have (I think) 16 large stems on three plants in that strain. BD #2

Its that time of year. Just chill and keep growing. Your plants know whats better for themselves in most cases than we do. You get a yank now all you will do is make hasty decisions I bet you end up regretting........

Hey Dude!! Wassabi? Started smokin in '65............man those were the good ole days eh?? Great tunes and weed sold by the "fingers" Something to be said for a big fat 5 finger bag of weed for ten bucks. Never see that again lol. Anyhow enough nestalgia............. I have six plants of LA Confidential, outdoor grow. started two months ago.
For whatever reason, one of the six just decided for no particular good reason other than June gloom (I'm in so cal and we had a lot of june gloom) to go into full blown flower. I have no experience at growing at all (this is my first) so I figured WTF, I'll just let it do whatever it wants and see what happens. About two weeks into this now and the plant is just kickin ass and takin names. Works for me. Can't see any downside at this point so I'm just lettin it roll. That's all I got for now. Good luck!!
