Hey guys, just an update. I removed infected parts of plant while being extremely
sterile. To my suprise it wasnt as bad as I thought it was.
Right before the sun came up I ended up using my own mix of all the "best talked about
homemade" fungicides. In a gallon of tap water I mixed 4 tablespoons of pure baking soda,
about a quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide 3%, a very small amount of 91% rubbing alcohol
like just poured a bit in, enough milk to equal out to 9 parts water 1 part milk "just store bought
whole milk", and a very small amount of neem for a sticking agent. I just took a sprayer and
misted the plants throughly, not too heavily. I've already done it, there is no reversing it, so I
really hope it "controls" my problem till harvest. Never heard of that much mixed but hell its worth
a shot, if things start looking funny i'll do an early harvest.
And to answer your question about what caused it, from my opionion would be a mixture of
heat all summer with high humidity everyday which isnt normal in these parts, we have been
getting rain here in eastern ky almost everyday, except for the past few days. Sometimes twice
to three times a day. A couple other causes would be something to do with this strain, i'm not sure
what strain it is, but its gotta be heavy indica dominant, it was bred by an x-local breeder for potency
and commercial properties. Its very very bushy, about 15-30 top colas on each bush and very short
in height, about 3 1/2 feet tall "some phenotypes being even shorter". Its very leafy also around the
large colas, but the colas are very dense about the size of coke cans as of now. Just starting really get
hard but trichromes are cloudy still and most hairs are still cloudy in color, some turning orange and
brown.
Different parts of the plant seem to be more mature than other parts, not talking lower and upper
buds but like in the rear of the plant theyre more mature than the front, kind of odd. Also kind of odd that
its maturing this early, never had a strain do this. It smells very stinky sort of skunk/dirty socks/ with a hint of
blueberry or something. Very very strong odor.
I have notcied in the places where the buds did have problems theyre are dead leves lying on the buds
also, which might also be traits of this strain but you can pick dead leaves one day and come back two
days later and they'll be yellowing again and drooping over some black beneath the plant hanging down.
Its just a large ass bushy plant with buds, mostly bud/sugar leaves and fan leaves is all you see.
It was also started in december indoors and put out and exed in march then revegged. After revegging
I took clones and these are the clones im refeering too that was put out june 15th. They revegged great
but have had fat calyxes all throughout reveg time "like 2 pulps on each area where stems meet branch"
all throughout revegging. I also noticed that they are brown colored now, some black. But almost all buds
look great except for the ones I removed. The sugar leaves are very thick and they die quickly so the ones
that were on the verge of dying I cut those off with scissors also. Not the fan leaves unless they were in bad
shape only. Sorry to ramble so much and sorry for the format, its different on my phone, its not very up to
date lol. Just had to get as much info there as possible so I could get better help. Thanks guys!
