Hey bro, sorry some of these forums seem dead. I was hoping for an expert to be here myself buy there is only me :( I need to know what your growing medium is. I ask, b/c sometimes if the soil is too "hot" with nutrients such as Fox Farms Ocean Forest there tends to be some light nutrient burn on the first leaves. Here's teh thing about diagnosing your weed plant, fyi. There is Mobile nutrients and Immobile nutrients. Mobile means that symptoms start at the BOTTOM, while immobile starts at the TOP. Looking at your pic, everything else seems healthy it's just the very tippy tips which as of right NOW you shouldn't worry too much about if your CONDITIONS are correct I.E good ventilation, good lighting, good soil. If you have these 3 things then my best guess would be this is a nutrient rich soil and they got a tad burned by it. That medium lokos a tad barky though. what are you using? You really need to make your own soil or go with a trusted bag like Pro-Mix, Fox Farms or Roots ORganic. They're all good shit and should get you close to flower with zero nutes. I hope this somewhat helps?

I'm using fox farm ocean forest

I'm using fox farm ocean forest and yeah I've notice they are dead so I tried 420 mag and they helped they said just do nothing haha as it is growing healthy and the bigger it grows the less nute burn I will have and they think it's nitrogen because of the dark green leaves

Yep, that's exactly what I would do. She looks great man, just got a lil hot from the FFOF. Happens. What I do is cut it with Happy Frog since it has Dolomite in there to help with calcium and mychorrizahe for root development. Throw in a lil perlite for aeration and baby you got a stew going!

Yeah I was gonna throw perlite but I didn't have time as the tap root was getting to long but anyways can't wait till 5th set of leaves pop so it can exploded with growth haha

Best suggestion to both, is be more active in the forum itself and you will have more activity in the forum. Why would you ever Happy Frog in with your Ocean Forest? If anything start your seed/seedlings a just a simple peat moss, perlite combo and transplant into FFOF. IMO should always add perlite for aeration and to help with drainage. However, in this case your plant will be fine. This forum is very much alive, just need to take advantage of things like the search bar and do some research rather then expect people to answer every little question you have.

Also, when posting and asking for help, your original post doesn't tell us anything at all. There should never be a reason why someone has to ask you what your growing medium is, as this should always be including when asking for help with a plant issue. Just a few friendly pointers for you, take it or leave it I suppose.

I add HF to OF b/c OF straight out of the bag tends to lightly burn newer plants much like it did to OP's which is why I cut with HF since it's much lighter on amendments and won't burn your plant the way straight up OF does. I could swear I answered this in a previous post. I have personally seen this "burn" and while the damage is never that much, it tends to run rather "hot" for newer things like seedlings, fresh sprouts and even initially transplanting into their final containers. For this reason I only use Happy Frog to start my seeds. I like how the mix is a bit lighter and seems to have good things to help with seedlings such as mycorrhizae for root growth and development. Granted everybody has there own way, personally when I use Happy Frog in no time at all I'll pick up the red-solo cup and see roots sticking out of the holes I have poked in the cup. Something I have never really seen before until I used something like HF. Plus, it has dolomite lime in it which OF does NOT have which helps with Cal issues that have been known to happen in OF after some time. A very trustworthy grower named "Moonshine" suggested this mix and plenty of people come in with fantastic pictures of grows all the way to flower if you care to google it's worth a google. Lol.

Now I just make my own super soil with 1 part soil base like Peat, 1 part hummus and 1 part aeration. 4 cups of amendments like Kelp and Alfalfa throw in some rock dust like Azomite. I let that shit marinate for 3-4 weeks and I never have to PH my water or anything and takes me all the way to flower. No testing run-off, no testing water, I even tried using straight tap water for ONE plant just to see what would happen and nothing changed which I thought would cuz Ga water has Chlorine in it.

As for OP, he is so wet behind the ears that I don't think a single post would have helped him out, he needed to be told to STOP WORRYING, which is something we don't talk about enough in these forums. Newbies tend to hug their plants a little hard and over think, and b/c of that he might have gone on a tangent of "oh shit it needs this, oh shit it needs that" fucking up his grow even more when all he needed to do was let that shit marinate and observe that the new growth comes in green and clean so there is nothing to worry about.

I'll try to be more active in these forums but I am still somewhat new myself and just trying to soak in as much info as I can before I start posting a bunch of crap that ain't even right.

So what do you use to bring you all the way to flower? Ever exp this light burn like OP and I have with FFOF?

As far as FFOF I have never started fresh seeds or seedlings in it myself, nor have I chosen to use it by itself solely because of the numerous issues I have heard from friends being too hot. I know its a great soil and has been a tried and true for many. I have however experienced this with some of the Roots Organics soils as they too can run a little on the hot side, however not to the extent that OF is known for. I myself, I am in the process of running a mix actually, for comparison purposes, that Is approximately 50% FFOF, 30% Peat Moss, and approximately 20% Perlite. I say approximately as these are going to be slightly off, probably a little heavier on the perlite then 20%. I also put cleaned river rock in the bottom of my pots/bags to help with drainage as well to help insure the bottom of the containers don't become compact with time. Furthermore, i mix in lime myself as to help balance the ph and reduce the concerns of issues with that. I have also recently switched to using solely tap water, which in my area contains many things that can be beneficial to the plant, but the chlorine issue is one that can be overlooked by many. Chlorine however will evaporate out of the water if left to sit before use, and since making the switch to tap water, my plants seem much happier.

As far as start to finish, I feel my mix of OF, Peat, Perlite, and little mixture of other additives would do relatively well from seed into flower, however this also is dependent in my opinion on the length of veg growth. I am a new grower myself so at this point I am doing a lot of research and first hand experimenting to see what will work best for me in my system. Everyone has there own preference, as I have heard many positives of mixing HF and OF but I have also heard numerous arguments as to why you shouldn't do this, thus why I asked for your personal reasoning based off of your experience.

You are correct, many times new growers over love their plants and try to fix minor issues by doing 10 different things. Normally this results in even worse affects to the plant, and in the surprise occurrence that your plant starts doing better, your not 100% sure what it was that fixed the problem. Yes, there may be a post here or there as well as a thread on this forum that may slow down for a while, but we all come here voluntarily. If we don't like what is offered here at RIU we can all choose to go elsewhere.

I think OP would have gotten much better results had he provided a little more information as to what his actual grow set up is. The issue I see I this site personally is that people don't read the sticky threads before posting questions like this and the real veterans decide to not answer simply because of the lack of dedication by those that are posting. The sticky threads may be long, and may contain some nonsense within them, however they are a great place to start and have many great answers if someone takes the time to read them. Again this is just my two cents on the topic.
